What Students Say

Likes

The faculties are very supportive and helpful in difficult situations.
Exams are conducted strees free and without any extraordinary pressure
It is within walking distance from Rapid Metro.

Dislikes

Sports teams are not that quallified that they should be.
Students are generally moderately qualified so not so competitive environment.
Annual fest's budget is not so great as it should be.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I want to have a job in the IT sector and BCA opens a wide variety of opportunities. Faculty: Student Ratio is 15:1 which is more of a good ratio but not a perfect one. Faculty here are moderately qualified but their teaching skills are very good.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees hike is only 4-6% which is within limits only as my per semester fee in the first year is only 49,000 RS. and in my second year per semester, the fee is 51,000 RS. Financial Assistance is offered to the EWS section and depends on how much he wants.

Campus Life

The Annual Fest is conducted annually but it is not as renowned as other colleges' fest so we call it an Annual Fest only. The Course books are available at the college library at any time during the college premises. There are many clubs in the college.

Admission

The admission process is very cool anyone with a 60%+ score in the 12th Board can get a seat in their favorite courses. Applications are available online at their website. There are reservation benefits in college fees and other facilities but it leads to ease in admission when you have a low score in your 12th board.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BCA is really relevant for todays technology upgradations going on in world. I was into tech and coding so i opted BCA and since college is accessible by metro and have good name so i took admission in it and i regret not. Curriculum is up to date and changes yearly as required in recent technology and ties up with trends. There is no space for improvement as of now. Exams happen frequently like class test ans assignments and they make u study from scratch so there is no difficulty its moderate.

Placement Experience:

The placements are quite good in our college. The college reports placement rate of 90% the companies and cell offer's support like aptitude tests, mock interviews, and soft skills session, internship and connections with companies. For a certain branches particularly, IT branches/ computer science and BCA students seem to get better opportunities than in some core-engineering or non IT branches. For many students, placements do result in "reasonable" salary package around 3.9 LPA for graduates. The top packages seem limited some sources mention highest package around 7.2 LPA for a placement batch.

Need to know

Placement Experience:

From last year students are eligible for campus placements which is quite hard to get as not a lot company pay visit to the campus for placements. Not very sure about the highest and average package as per but approximately 150000 to 200000 .Earlier there were lessvstudents in university so placement ratio was high but for now don't really know. My plan after degree is to get some job and then pursue for PG course.

My personal experience at IMR college Duhai

I applied for HLM college and got confirmed for the addmission but i was not ready to take addmission at that time. I did not get any rejection from any of the colleges. Firstly you need to appear for UPB.ED state examination conducting every year after passing the examination you can visit the college of your choice and confirm your seat allotment. As soon your document verification of completed your addmission is confirmed.
