Remarks

All in all this is the college that I don't regret getting into. I am pretty happy and feel lucky that I got here. This is the best experience of my life this far.

Entrance Preview

I appeared for JEE Mains 2017, scored 122. Got 71% in CBSE 12th Board Examinations. As an average student I didn't have many choices, some colleges like JECRC, Manipal University, were some options but I chose Raffles University over them, because renowned reputation.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

In the past several years, there has been a great deal of national discussion about the assessment of student learning in higher education. Students, their parents, public officials, and others have posed questions about the value of higher education, focusing particularly on the value added at the individual level. So, the covers the deep knowledge about all the subjects that are related and the curriculum includes space for research and advancements in knowledge of your subject.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. Raffles University provides internship programs for the students. Many reputed companies come here every year with their internship programs. Students go through an interview and a test and other requirements(as per the company decides), and if you get through you'll get an internship. Companies like Daikin, TATA Motors, Parle, Hero, Nidec and many more come here every year to find new interns.

Placement Experience

4.5

Raffles University has always been very proactive in placing the students into the profiles of their preference. The institute has a well-organized placement team headed by the Associate Director (Industrial Liaison, Placements & Practice School) and comprising of faculty and student coordinators from each department. On an average, over 125 recruiting teams visit Raffles University for campus placements & internship recruitment every year. More than 90% students get placed every year. Packages varying from 2L p.a to 15L p.a

College Events

5

Being an Engineering College it was necessary for it to organize events that were necessary for the development of a future Engineer. They organize tech fest, debates, cultural fests time to time which is a great way of learning and having fun. Many other Universities are also invites to take part in these competitions that are there in the fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is pretty reasonable and affordable. The tuition fee being 42000 per semester and hostel being 52000 per semester including mess and laundry services. This does not include the one time fee i.e Hostel security, uniform fee, academic security, development fee and admission fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes. The college provides with some nice scholarships starting from the admissions right till the graduation. If you maintain a good score you will get 100% scholarship in tuition fees. The college promotes great minds(prodigies) and I personally think it is a nice thing to give attention to deserving.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is supposed to be full of enjoyment and quality time and this is exactly what it is in Raffles University. Along with academics, Raffles University makes sure that our students can enjoy extracurricular activities also. They encourage and organize various sports, cultural and technical events in close co-ordination with the team of faculty and staff members. There are presently a lot of clubs and societies that are accessible after the college hours which helps in the development of the students overall.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel and mess facilities are best in class. Hostels are covered with Wi-Fi facilities and have LAN Ports in every room. Every room is single occupancy so, more room to privacy. Every room is air conditioned have a wardrobe, a book shelf a study table, a bed with a lot of storage, and a good quality mattress.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are super supportive and co-operative. They will help you out with everything you want. They'll be there to guide you help you out with every difficulty you are in. Alumni meets are organised yearly.

Exam Structure

Exams are one thing that is important in student life, it helps you asses your performance and how much you learned from your lectures. A unit test is conducted after every Unit, MID Terms are there after half the semester passes and then the Practicals And finally the END Term examination.

Admission

I got admissions on the basis of my Joint Entrance Examination score and Class 12th Percentage. Then had an interview with some Faculty members and the admission council . And their decision was there by the next day on the notice board. They acknowledge your general proficiency, personality, knowledge about engg./or the field you want to opt for, and conversation skills.

Faculty

4

All the faculty members, let it be a Lab Assistant or a Professor, everyone have a vast knowledge in their subjects and is no less than an IIT graduate. They know what they are teaching their students how to get students on track and how to convey what they are saying to the students. All Faculty members are super friendly and are always ready whether its 3AM or 2PM.
