Remarks

I learned to speak English from there only, I learned subjects by my own only. I did not get any exposure over there but we can score marks.

Entrance Preview

This is an Affiliated Institution. (ANNA UNIVERSITY) There is no entrance exam. we just have to clear the intermediate. and also through Tamilnadu engineering admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I chose was Mechanical Engineering. but there is no practical learning. marks are only focused. And we will not be allowed to choose our elective as well.

Internships Opportunities

No internships are provided and not even they are allowing us to do project in any companies. Because they will start the regular classes before the end of the holidays that university grands us.

Placement Experience

Placements for mechanical Engineering is average only. in my batch only about 15 gets placed out of 140. Highest package is 300 kwd per month and the lowest is 15K per month.

College Events

there is no college day being celebrated by the institution. But sports day will be conducted. symposiums are conducted but not not frequently

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee was as mentioned by the government. that is 62500 tuition fee along with book fee as well as if required bus fee too collected. And Caution deposits will not be refunded.

community scholarships will be granted.

Campus Life

somehow they concentrate on sports but to participate in any other colleges like workshop not more than 5 are granted.

Hostel Facilities

I was a dayscholar. And hostel is okay. no mobile phones are allowed inside the hostel as well as campus. Food is okay.

Alumni/Alumna

There were no Alumni interaction with the students. And network is also poor

Exam Structure

if we fail in the morning exam we have to stand back till the evening to write the retest. labs are partially okay.

Faculty

The teaching standards are average only(exam point of view) but they conduct every day morning tests to train you for the semester exam.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.
