Remarks

Overall University is good. But some of the faculties are facing problems with teachers. Still University has a great reputation among the state of haryana and delhi also. Crowd is also great but strictness should be less. As they treat their students as students are in school.

Entrance Preview

There was no entrance exam for my course. It was direct admission. My friend told me about this college and also i searched about it on internet.in interview they asked my percentage and asked few questions about my daily life. My sister's husband told me to do this because he is also in this field and earns good.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Its a brilliant course. I am doing BA in Journalism and mass communication and it is my favourite subject. Here the focus is more on theory not on practicals. Practicals are few in this college. In research initatives they send us to visit some industries few times. Everything is nice but practical knowledge should be more.

Internships Opportunities

College provides internship also on the basis of the performance and percentage of the student. Students of our faculty have done internships in Star News, Sandhya TV and some small News channels and Radio Stations also.

Placement Experience

3.5

They give placements according to the performance of the students. Out of 40 students of final year 25 got placements. India tv, aaj tak and DD national have visited the campus for our faculty. There were 1 month internship then after they paid 9000 rs per month in starting.

College Events

4

Recently our university organised a event in ehich shahrukh khan and anushka sharma came to promote their movie. It was a very nice event. Every year University organises these types of event and diwali fest and holi fest also. Crowd were also in a very huge amount. Our faculty were the one to contribute more in this event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure for my course is 1 lakh per year. But we can pay fee in a 6 month gap also. So no one face problems. Every different course have their different fee structure. Here late fees fine also counts and its quiet dissappointing because its a very high amount.

Fees and Financial Aid

College don't provide any scholarship for our faculty.

Campus Life

4

In extra curricular activities college organise a sports day event every year to make students fit and make them enjoy.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No i am not in hostel. I have my own vehichle but yeah i know about hostel rooms as some of my friends live there. They are good according to the fees of the hostel. They have Air conditioners, Beds and are comfortable for 2 students. They are on sharing. College dont have PG's they only have hostels.

Alumni/Alumna

I don't know much about alumni. But yes they contribute to make college reputation strong.

Exam Structure

Exam hall is very big in every single faculty. In every semester building of exam changes and minimum of 3 invigilator attend the exam hall. But also they are very stressfull. Studies are difficult and syllabus should be less according to the studies of my course. Its a chill only because of friends. Environment is good but nearby there are no places to wander around.

Faculty

3

Faculty of my course is overall nice but it changes time to time.. to many teachers have left the college and now new ones have come but their knowledge is also good. They are interactive as well as focused in their teaching. Standard of their teaching is good. But it can be improved in this University because students ask for practical knowledge here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific Aspects That Influenced the Decision For students choosing a professional or certificate course, the curriculum usually becomes the deciding factor based on three key pillars: Job-Oriented Specific Skills: The primary influence is the curriculum's direct focus on market-based, job-ready skills (e.g., Python, Data Science, Digital Marketing tools). Unlike a traditional degree, the appeal is that every module must be immediately applicable to a job. Portfolio Development: Students are heavily influenced by modules that are project-based or require them to build a portfolio (like a website, a code repository, or a marketing plan). The curriculum must be designed to result in tangible work that can be shown to employers. Industry Certification Alignment: If the course prepares students for an external, recognized industry certificate (like CCNA, MCP, or Google/Meta certificates), the curriculum's strict adherence to that certification standard is a major influence. 2. Preparation for Real-World Applications The curriculum of a successful short-term course is designed to excel specifically in preparing students for real-world applications. Curriculum Improvements Mandatory Soft Skills Integration: While technical skills are a focus, the curriculum should mandate dedicated modules on non-technical, yet critical, job skills like: Professional Communication and Email Etiquette Team Collaboration and Project Management (Agile/Scrum basics) Interview Preparation and Mock Interviews Industry Feedback Loop: Establish a more frequent and formal system to update the curriculum based on current industry demands, possibly involving an advisory board of employers or recent alumni.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was influenced because I wanted to study more about how a person makes decisions, form perception and how a person's mind works . The curriculum prepares us for real world as we study about different aspects of psychology. The curriculum can be improved a little by adding a elective course in which we can get a little experience and arranging trips . The exams are not too difficult or too easy , just in perfect depth of the subject.
