Remarks

For admission, one has to pass the entrance exam which is now being conducted by the NTA, the cut-off criterion is 40% of graduation marks and 60% of what you have got in the entrance exam. After that, if you pass the cut-off marks, you'll be called for counseling and will be asked to pay fees. After the payment of fees, you will get a receipt and you are now a part of the RIE family.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is wide and helps you to understand various perspectives and ground realities, there are several programs like school exposure, school attachment, and working with the community, apart from the internship, if anybody is interested in having a lifetime experience while doing B.ed this college is highly recommended. Faculty is fine, though it can give you an open experience to prepare for future exams.

Internships Opportunities

4

The college provides internships each semester under different programs helping to get new perspectives from different societies. Internships are unpaid. College sends in central and state schools according to their own limits.

Placement Experience

4

Placement from schools of whole India comes during the 4th semester. They provide salaries starting from 2.5lpa to 6.5 lpa according to the subject knowledge of the student. The selection process differs from school to school. The college provides apt guidance on how one can get selected.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are different as per the category. I am from the general category and thus my fee structure is almost 15000 per year, hostel fees are 10000, and for mess, we pay 20000 per year. It is affordable as compared to what is in the outside world. Exam fees vary from 1500-2000 rupees and the office helps to guide with scholarships and everything.

Campus Life

3

Life is a bit tough because an outing for girls isn't allowed only on Wednesday 4-8 pm and on one day on Saturday and Sunday for 8 hours, apart from that one has to write an application and take permission. Though the students selected are well educated it creates an intriguing and open environment.
