What Students Say

Likes

The atmosphere of the college is so peaceful
There are various food in the canteen and icecream spot too
The faculty teaching methods are so amazing

Dislikes

The mess food is bad sometimes and the authorities don't care for a long time
The power cut happens very frequently in the hostels in the winter season mostly
Phones are not available in the university campus

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course to become an entrepreneur and do a start-up of my own. The faculty: student ratio is pretty good actually. The faculty are well qualified here and have high experience. The term exams and mid-exams have very less gap between them and as there's no time to prepare it's so hard to pass.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 190000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees hike policy is observed here the chancellor decides the fee hikes. The scholarship name is mbucet , it is an entrance exam for the university. I got 1100 rank in it I got some pretty good concessions from my rank here.

Campus Life

The annual fest is named mohanamantra it is conducted in the month of October every here very grandly with a budget of 5 crores at least. The books and journals are available in the library in a wide range and various languages. The amenities in the classrooms are a projector, whiteboard. The sports and extracurricular activities are less here. There aren't any social groups and the clubs are recently being introduced here.

Admission

The eligibility of the course is you should have at least 75 percent in your intermediate board exams. You can find the application form, application fees, and application dates. Reservation benefits can be availed if you have them. The admission process is so mixed it should be improved.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start from the 3-2 semester with pre-placement training, aptitude test, coding rounds and interviews. Companies like HSBC, Prowess soft, ADP, Infinite computer solutions and many more companies visited the campus for recuritment. The average package is around 3.5 LPA while the highest package is 16.43 LPA in 2026 and varies each year. I was selected by Infinite Computer Solution in 4-1 semester itself with a package of 4.5 LPA. After my graduation, I plan to build my career in software development and enhance my techinal skills.

The college offers placements to its students. The college invited more than 30 software companies to the college annually where students can apply based on the criteria mentioned by the company and interest of the students. My Experience at Mohan Babu University

I applied to multiple colleges during my admission process, including VIT (AP), SRM AP, KL University, and a few local engineering colleges through AP EAPCET. I received confirmed admission from Mohan Babu University and a couple of tier-2 private colleges, while some higher-ranked universities either had higher cutoffs or much higher fees. I chose Mohan Babu University (MBU) mainly because of its strong infrastructure, disciplined academic environment, and relatively better placement support compared to other colleges where I got admission. While SRM AP and VIT AP had good brand value, their overall fees were significantly higher, including hostel and miscellaneous charges. In comparison, MBU offered decent facilities, good labs, and structured training at a comparatively manageable cost....Read More
