Entrance Preview
As our college is a state level engineering college, EAMCET(Engineering agriculture and medical common entrance test) is the only mode for direct admission in our college. I wrote the same and secured a rank of 20k. First there was an online option entry process in which we can enter our options according to our priorities followed by verification process at the college as per our result of option entry, in which they thoroughly verified my rank card and other necessary certificates. As i was intoxicated spending time with computer since my school days, i preferred to opt for a course, which would deal entirely with computers and i feel very lucky to get a seat in information technology engineering in my college.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are many fascinating courses in our curriculum like computer programming through c in 2nd sem., data structures lab in 3rd sem.,object oriented programming through java in 4th sem., computer graphics software engineering & in 5 th sem, computer networks &object oriented analysis &design in 6th sem., unix programming in 7th sem., along with electives like object oriented programming lab., web programming lab., computer networks lab., data warehousing and data mining lab.,network programming lab. College authorities are thoroughly aware of pros. of the concept of practical learning and they guide us to learn all the above courses through practical learning by conducting as many lab. Sessions as possible.
Internships Opportunities
Yes they would provide internship but there would be no stipend amount. If students are curious gain more practical knowledge they can approach the necessary faculty and share their thoughts with them
Placement Experience
Placement percentage is very high in our colleg efrom the last 10 years. But slowly decreasing year after year, 70 % of students are placed.Major companies are Tcs., wipro, tech mahindra, microsoft and amazon. Average package is 3lacs.
College Events
Ekathra, tech wiki ,rotary clubs events etc. These events pulled huge audience. Organization is good and very concerned.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As our college is listed as one of top colleges with good infrastructure and placement count, govt. Fixed its fee to be rs. 1,08,000, which was a huge number but it worth every single penny.
Fees and Financial Aid
College provides scholarship for the top 3 members of the department. No i don't have any.
Campus Life
It encourages a lot after college hours, all our grounds would be house filled with students playing different sports. Sime would take care of clubs and their future events.
Hostel Facilities
I not residing in hostel but i know about hostel rooms, they are spacious and kept clean everyday. Rooms are of sharing type only, no single rooms would be provided. They are wardens always monitoring the actions of students and food is of high quality and it is mouth watering. Hostel fee is rs. 60,000 per annum.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is nice, it provides nice platform every year for interacting with the passed outs.
Exam Structure
No. of labs would depend upon the sem. Going on and lab sessions would of great excitement and i feel happy for learning something new . We would have two internal exams and sem end exams. Internal exam are one in every 2 months so it is relaxing and chill culture in view of exam patterns here, labs are the other way round.
Faculty
Most of the faculy are postgraduates in Tech. and few have their ph.d . Faculty are very friendly and they would interact every now and then with students to know any of our problems and are very approachable for clarification of doubts. Actually our college is very well known for its education in the neighbouring districts and they only recruit top level faculty which put our college on the top.
