i have been here for a sports competition and loved the atmosphere.

overall the college is worth studying in . especially the college has good atmosphere with plantation of tress along the side of the road.

Students usually get admitted in this college through Anna university councelling. Only students with good high end marks can get a seat in this college. i was in sairam for football tournament. i had to only register my football team. there was no interviews.

practical learning is good compared to other colleges. they take students to lab atleast 4 times a week and teach us how to run machines and stuff. the mechanical course here is totally worth the money paid as fee. we get lot of knowledge such as real time problem solution. i dont not know about research initiatives take by the college.

There was no internship provided by the college. i do not know if they provided . the college activities are vast , so i didnt notice . but as far as i know , there was no internship.

placements are coming . core companies also accept to visit our college as it is one of the top colleges in chennai. around 40% students get placed since students are shy to express themselves during interview. companies like super auto forge , karthikeyan plastics came for placements. the average package was arounf 15,000 - 20,000 k

many symposiums are held every year . only students conduct the events. the college authorities did contribute to the events . there was also a football tournament where many colleges participated.

Fees is on the affordable side. althought the fees depends on the caste the student belongs to. that is quite disappointing.students pay around 1 lakh - 2 lakh. But it is worth it as we get lot of knowledge.

scholarship was given to students whose parents' annual income was below 2lakh. i did not get any scholarship.

there were many opportunities to discover talents. there is always room given for extra activities . project work and building our own machine gave us lot of knowledge and discover inner talents

i am a day scholar but i heard the hostel is good and clean . a room is shared by 4 members. the food is ready on time and served hot. outside food is strictly not allowed . students pay around 30,000 INR for hostel .

i did not have any interaction with the alumni.

exams are tiring and labs are fun too. we learn much in labs , so we can practicals easily. they train us well for exams too. obviously it is tiring at the end of the day after continuous exam schedules and labs.

faculty are strict and not friendly. but they are definitely qualified with ME degrees and good in communication too. they clear doubts when we approach them. there are few who are too strict and do personal revenge for nothing. thats ego .
