Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course in order to pursue my career in Interior Designing as I am passionate about the same. There are about 10 to 12 teachers maintaining about 500 to 600 students in total. The faculty members are highly qualified architects and Interior Designers. Each of their teaching methods is unique and understandable. The exams take twice in 6 months and the questions can easily be answered if one is well acquainted with the concept.
Internships Opportunities
After every semester students get the chance to attend a 1-month internship in the chosen company. However, the internship remains unpaid but provides a lot of practical knowledge to the students. The students also participate in various projects and competitions and achieve good success.
Placement Experience
The placement method is quite transparent. Students become eligible after completing the 6th semester. The companies like D Deco, homeland, and Godrej visited the campus. The highest average package might range from 15000 to 30000 per month. About 80 percent of Students enjoy good placement. I would love to seek a good placement after completing the degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
The college fee is quite high and keeps on increasing every year in a steady manner. The entire course fee is 5.5 lakh. I haven't enjoyed any scholarship or the facility of any internship yet, however many of my seniors got placed into various renowned companies like Godrej, Homelane, etc.
Campus Life
The annual fest named Thesaurus is conducted in the month of January every year and the annual exhibition is conducted in the month of June every year. There is a small library where books written by famous architects are available. There are not many extracurricular activities on the campus. Also, there is no social group, clubs, or website for students run by the students.
Admission
The admission process was quite simple. The course requires 12th-pass students with a minimum of 50 percent secured during the exam. The application form is easily available on the college website. Also, the application fees and application dates are available on the college website. However, there are no reservation benefits available. The admission process is quite transparent and easygoing.
