My college experience is unique

The college environment is good enough to learn and to get innovative thinking. A friendly environment is developed between the student and the faculty. Dress code is very strictly maintained inside the campus premises. The college have to be developed in providing placement facilities and they have to encourage the students in sports activities. My overall experience is satisfied with the college because i am leading a complete engineer life with lots of fun and entertainment.

I came into the college through the exam conducted by the government of AP i. e., eamcet exam. The cut off considered for the college is very high. It is 90,000 ranks for all most all the branches. I got 75,000 rank in eamcet and i opted mechanical engineering as my course of study as i am very interested in it. The courses provided will be according to the eamcet rank secured by the student. I preferred this college because it is very popular college in our area and according to my rank this college is suitable for me. Even management quota seats are also available in our college.

Mechanical engineering basically is a very tough subject and difficult to clear the subjects without arrears. Maximum only boys choose mechanical and even i chose with my own interest. The subject knowledge provided will be good enough to learn recent technologies because the chapters taught will be same as the JNTU kakinada. The college has good lab facilities but the maintainence is not proper. The college focuses more on marks rather than practical knowledge and also toppers only will be given preference. The college gives only less preference for reasearch initiatives but some our faculty encourages us to take some researches and guide us.

Internships are not provided by the college and even we don't get enough offers. The college never brings up companies for giving internships but ou faculty give information about some internships conducted in top companies but most of the students don't pay interest in attending. Few fourth year students attend internships in BSNL with their own interest. In college many workshops and conferences will be conducted by the management.

The placement offers provided by college is not so satisfied because they bring up only small companies who provide limited packages. Last year around 200 students got placed but most of them are placed with an average package of 1.5-2 lakh PA. The highest package in our department last year is 2.8 lakh PA. Cse department has good placement offers comparitively and around 70 students got placed only from Cse dept. The companies visited last year are HCL, TCS and few other MNC companies.

The fees is very less in our college for the counselling students. We have to pay only 30,000/- per annum. The fees for the management quota students will be decided by the college and it will be around 50,000/- to 60,000/- this will be decided according to thier inter score and the course they opt for. Scholarships will be provided for the students getting good rank in eamcet.

The faculty plays a major role in the college development and progress. They help the students in achieving good marks and developing skills. They help the students in learning recent technologies and make them to take up research initiatives. Many faculty members are having a good experience and are great scholars with many degrees. The standards of thier teaching is good enough for the students to understand the course.
