- If they see you using phones, headphones, airbuds. They'll take it and keep it in custody for a very long time.
- There is no sports activity at all for students.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is a good course and has a lot of scope in the future. Also, my JEE score was not good so I had no other choice. Faculty is in numerous numbers and the students as well. There are around 2000 students in 1st year and they are divided into sections of 65 each. Each faculty handles only 2 classes, Now you can imagine the number. The faculty in Core branches are usually HODs who are usually Phds in their fields whereas for specialization Assistant professors are provided who are Msc. But the faculty shuffles regularly after each semester. For teaching I would say that they do a very good job, except for some new teachers the old teachers are very good. We have 2 Midsems and 1 Endsem. I am from the 2022-2023 batch which was finished rapidly. The Midsems are quite easy and very easy to score. For Endsems RGPV takes the exams, they are very difficult but not hard to pass. But for maths, you have to study hard.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities start from 2nd year and are not that great. Although there is an incubation center here in LNCT, 1st-year students can go there to work and gain some experience. A recommendation letter is also provided and you also get the opportunity to interact with your seniors and gain a lot of skills.
Placement Experience
From the 5th semester, the students become eligible for training and placement. Usually mass recruiters like TCS come and take a lot of students for 3-6 LPA. There are a few companies like AWS, VmWare that go up to 20 LPA but the students placed for these high packages are very less. The average placements are around 5 LPA and the highest was 1.1 CR. The placements in this college are best when compared to other pvt colleges in North India. Dr. Anuj Garg is the best TnP faculty in North India and he makes sure that every student gets placed with a good package.
Fees and Financial Aid
LNCT's fee structure is very affordable compared to other colleges like SRM, VIT, MIT, and Jaypee. The scholarships that are provided are usually for reservation candidates. But there is one scholarship that is provided by govt which is MMVY (Medhavi Scholarship Scheme) for this you should have at least 150000 rank in JEE and your family's annual income should be less than 600000.
Campus Life
Being honest the campus is not that big as compared to NITs and IITs. It is around 30 acres of land. There is a lot of greenery and cafes also have good food. We had many fests held like Sunburn (Gajendra Verma's Concert), Shrishti 2k23 (LNCTs week fest, many activities for students to participate in including LAN Gaming, RoboRace, etc), Techfests, Engineering Olympics. There are 3 libraries on the LNCT campus each for each college LNCT, LNCTS, and LNCTE. There is a huge collection of books that are easily available to us, also there is an e-library provided by the college. Classrooms have projectors and there is a school-like environment. In the whole college, there are 2 special classes that have AC so if you'll get lucky you might get them. Sports for 1st-year students is none. All sports you wanna do can be done during the events or the Nodal Tournaments. As for Social Groups and Clubs, they start during your 2nd year as well but there are only for hackathons rest are non existing.
Admission
The course I opted for was Artificial Intelligence and Data Science which I got through IBC (Internal Branch Change), previously I had ECE in LNCT. I did not have a good JEE score and opting for specialization was the only option I had. The cutoffs for my course AIDS are somewhat like everyone can get admission in this course, a girl in my class had 10 percentile in JEE and she got admission through DTE Counselling, So there is no cutoff. The admission process is quite easy, you just have to call the college's admission department and tell them all your details. They will handle the rest of the process and you will surely get admission. A small amount will be taken from which 80% money will be adjusted in your 1st-semester fees. If you have a good percentile in JEE try for TFW seats, their fees are around 20000 per year. If you have a low score go for specialization in LNCT Main Campus.

VIT Bhopal University | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
Because it doesn't have a good reputation and I have many friends in VIT Bhopal and the reviews and feedbacks were not very good.
