LNCT, Bhopal full college review

The course curriculum is not too vast. In 1st year, we have to study basic engineering subjects and then in the 2nd year, the main subjects of our engineering stream come. The student-teacher ratio is excellent and the teachers are much more qualified. Most teachers did Phd in their subjects. Each semester, there are two mid-semester exams which are easy and of 20 marks for each subject. The end semester exam is of good level conducted by RGPV, Bhopal which requires good study.

Internship opportunities are available from the first year of college. Companies with virtual internship also come. Some companies that came are Cisco, IBM, etc. They also provide stipends based on the qualifications of students they select.

Placement in the college is somewhat good. Almost 200 companies come from all engineering branches. From 3rd year, students will become eligible to sit for the interviews. In recent years, 2500+ students were placed from the college with the highest package of 1.12Cr and the average package is about 6lpa.

Fees structure is not too high compared to other private colleges. We have to pay the semester fees after the end of the previous one. There is a TFW scheme by which many students who have good ranks in entrance exams get the benefit of a TFW scholarship. Also, the internships come on a regular basis to assist the students in grabbing job interviews and with new technology.

Life on campus is good. Discipline on campus is the foremost priority of the teachers and directors. Also, the boys-to-girls student ratio is also good. Fest is conducted in March month when lots of competitions and fun activities are there. Also, sports clubs are also present in the college where you can show your talent. The library is not too big but you can find almost all the types of books that you want.

In the 1st year, you have the option to opt for hostel. There are two hostels for boys and two hostels for girls. All types of facilities have been provided in the hostel. Gym is also there in the campus. You will get your bed with chair, table and cupboard. The mess food is also good but non-vegetarion foods are not cooked. From the 2nd year, boys will have to leave the hostel and will have to reside outside the campus.

My admission process is somehow very smooth. First of all, we have to enrol in the counselling process conducted by the MP-DTE through which I had given preferences of my choices of branch and college on the MP-DTE site. The selection was based on the rank of JEE mains you got. My rank was around 1,38,000 and I got CSE-AIML in my first upgrade round and in the last Internal Branch Change round, got a CSE branch in LNCT main campus. Then, the allotment letter will be printed by which you have to go to college for admission. Important documents required for admission are Migration Certificate, Transfer Certificate, Marksheets Photocopies, etc.
