What Students Say

Likes

Cricket ground is so large and awesome. There is also a running track in the filed.
Surrounding are filled with greenery so the fresh air always comes.
Class rooms are digitalised there are projectors to help us understand well.

Dislikes

Sometimes the washrooms are so untidy which I don't like the most.
The route is college from Duvvada is not good it is full of stones.
There is a park type gym equipment which nobody take care about that

Course Curriculum Overview

Electrical and electronic engineering is a very good course and has various job opportunities via the EEE course. I have chosen this course for getting good job opportunities in various central government sectors and others.

Internships Opportunities

There are amazing internship opportunities that will be provided by the placed company or the college faculty. But it is mandatory for everyone to do an internship. There is a lab known as AICTE pan that will encourage us to innovate new things they also give funds to the projects we make.

Placement Experience

After completing 3-2 which means the 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. The top recruiters are Infosys, Accenture, and Wipro. But the highest salary will be paid by the Amazon company with around 23.5 LPA. The average package is around 6lpa and there are around 100+ visits to the college to give placements to the students. There are around 1400+ have been offered last year.

Fees and Financial Aid

It has a cost of study of 1,00,000 and there is a way to get scholarship via government and by college.

Campus Life

There is an annual fest that happens every January and three tech fests will happen. The Central Library in VIIT has all books needed for every course. A lot of sports and extracurricular activities are there.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is fine. They have a nice clean room with a WIFI facility. The atmosphere is kinda cool so it's fun there. The registration can be done at the administration department and coming to food is good but sometimes it's kinda sour or tasteless. But overall the food is good and the hostel facilities are perfect.

Admission

Vignan institute of information and technology is very good platform to get themselves a future. The very good aspect is the faculty is highly professional and the laboratory are big . Cricket is just like a stadium and have other sports area and bad aspects is sometimes washrooms are untidy. Anyone can get admission in VIIT by EAMCET counselling and by donation wise.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.
