Along with finance and accounting knowledge, a well-equipped B.Com Honours course provides knowledge about economics, statistics, auditing, taxation, and business management as well. As undergraduate degree programs B.Com (Hons) are 3-year courses and the course structure is almost the same. However, students get in-depth knowledge in the B.Com (Hons) course and so it is quite demanding among the students.

Every year students go to the job fair this year,l the job fair is postponed due to the coronavirus but 65 percent of students easily get jobs at the job fair but they don't get as much salary as they expect.

Actually, there are no available placements. The fees for the courses are different and the fees are about 4500 to 5000 per year for any course you will choose and the study material that you have to pay extra. You will get a scholarship if you have scored 80% or above and if you are from obc or sc category student, your fees will be returned back in your bank account.

In Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru government college annual day events are celebrated in December. Some events like Sports Day, Freshers party, Farewell, Diwali, Teacher's Day, Holi, etc. are celebrated in the college. And they take students to other colleges for competitions.

Pass in 10+2 Examination Equivalent Examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate in 5 subjects including English as a compulsory subject along with 4 subjects with the highest score out of the remaining subjects.
