Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because dentistry seemed really interesting. I had a chat from other proffessionals from this field and it was enlightening to know about pros and cons of dentistry. Teaching methods here are intresting there are projectors and working models to get the understanding of the subjects better and ratio is 20:1

Internships Opportunities

The internship is available in our college there is good exposure. We have postings in every department and we get to do patients and cases of different departments and learn a lot from all these practical experiences

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is according to DCI guidelines and is stable for the past few years. There are scholarships for well-deserving students. Financial assistance is given to students in need. And also to the students of reservation

Campus Life

Life on campus is very fun. There are a lot of activities that make learning fun. Exhibitions and fests are held. Endothon is the name of our fest. We once make a working model of tooth eruption which made us learn a lot

Admission

The admission process was easy, after qualifying neet, you just need to fill out the counselling application form available on the Nta site. After 3 rounds of counselling college was allotted. The process was quite easy so I don't want to see any improvements

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college is close to my home town and fees is reasonable this two things influence me to choose this course. College prepare at its level but we have to prepare ourselves for each and every hurdle in practice and clinics. The teaching methods of college is very old and slow they should try new methods so that students also take interest in studies. Timing of exams are not fix they take exams any time , they take internals before 1 month of final exams , college not give us paper leave.

At BDS there is a yearly system of exams, but before that you have to go through internal exams [2 internal exams and 1 pre-university exam] and attendance is mandatory. One must attend all the classes to appear for an examination. Attendance must be above 75%.
