Faculty strength- academically highly qualified and clinically well experienced faculty.
Excellent infrastucture-clinics with all modern instruments and best patient inflow.
Family like environment- loving and supportive faculty and colleagues.

Dislikes

Regular attendance for theory classes mandatory.
Entry to the hostel not permitted after 7.00 pm.
Prior intimation by parents to hostel warden needed to leave hostel.

My passion for dentistry prompted me to select this course. The healthy faculty-student ratio of 5:1. All faculty postgraduates in their specialties. Few with doctorates also. 3 internal exams followed by university exams per year.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

One year compulsory rotating internship to be completed. The college arranges a visit to other institutions of excellence in this period. Training programs are provided that range from personality development to skill acquisition programs in all fields of dentistry.

Placement Experience

The placement cell prepares candidates for placement. Interns are provided an opportunity to attend placement programs. Most placements come from dental clinics in Kerala. More than 70% of students join clinics after graduation. Others join for post-graduate studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Rs 1,50000 to be paid every year. Fees fixed at the beginning of the course is applicable throughout the course. The college provides all supporting documents needed for educational loans. Scholarships are provided by the college based on academic performance. The placement cell supports getting placement after the course.

Campus Life

Annual sports and arts fest -"Yolo" is conducted every year during Sept October. The "Chrysalis" convocation ceremony is conducted in April-May every year. The library has excellent facilities. New n old editions of all textbooks are available. Online n offline editions of specialty journals are available in the library. The library has Ebsco online subscription. Smart classrooms.

Hostel Facilities

Bath attached hostel rooms. Excellent healthy food. Hostel fees are affordable. Admission to hostel rooms through the college office. Warden n caretakers available. 24 hrs. WIFI, security. Reading rooms with all newspapers n magazines. Indoor games. Gymnasium.

Hostel Fee: INR 5000 per year

Admission

We should get more than 50% marks in plus two and should be qualified via NEET or Kerala entrance exam. Then we have to complete the allotment process and get allocated to the college within the three phases of allotment by the government and college authorities.

We can be the reason for someone's confident smile is the reason for my decision to choose this course. Prosthodontology is the specific aspect of this curriculum that influenced me. If the student go strict to the curriculum that will definitely reflect in the real world. this makes the student more confident in the career. The available teaching methods are good enough. As i mentioned each level has its own toughness. if we stick on to the curriculum, and the path paved by the facilities the difficulty level will be much lower

Course Curriculum Overview:

No one tells you the dark side of the course or even if they do little do we understand..this course is never as expected..it requires a lot of patience,and strength to hold on yourself when the whole campus is against you and you have to work as a one man army. it's just powerpoint presentation and reading it aloud in class and it's done...it we who have to work. There are 2-3 internal exam but none of these marks are considered for the last University exam...it's all what we score for the final exam..there's another model exam then lots of small tests

The campus is just amazing. there are several fests and cultural events being organised in the college. The campus has good and fresh environment. It has got a lot of greenery. The canteen is clean. the location of campus is safe. It is free from ragging. It is bit tough to reach college.

At first the student should clear NEET after their higher secondary exams. After the out of neet result candidate can apply for colleges they think they might get according to their owned score. The candidate must wait for the first allotment result and can apply for admission in the alloted college. If the candidate didn't get any allotment he/she can wait for the second allotment or if the alloted college wasn't our coice of interest we can change the order of colleges we applied. I applied at all the government colleges and only one self finance college. According to my neet score i got admission in Annoor dental college at the first allotment. The allotment comes computetized and even though you can choose which one you would prefer you may not always get it. Out of the options available to me , I feel this was the best one. Both in reviews from the alumni and also the ratings given by various other sites.
