Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is designed in such a way that we will get the knowlegde of everything that we need to know to get into the social sector. The faculties are guest lecturers who are highly experienced and come form different parts of the country and a few out of the country. Their teaching methods are great with lots of practical experience. The average term duration is one month and exams are taken in between or at the end of each term. If we pay attention to the classes and have completed individual and group assignments nicely then we can get decent marks.
Placement Experience
The placement process is nice. We get notifications of the company's JDs from the placement committee so that we can look through that and apply if all the criteria ours are met. After sending the applications to the organisations from the committee, they shortlist our resumes based on their criteria. once it is done, then the application moves to the interview round. The interview round consists of GDs, prework, personal interviews, HR rounds etc. which are different for different organisations. Interviews are generally online. Few visit the campus for the interview. The placements start from the 6th term. Mostly all good organisations take part in the placement process.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is 5 lakhs. After getting the offer, to confirm the seat you need to pay fifty thousand which is refundable after the end of the course. They provide deferred payments as the financial assistance which is to be paid after completion of the course from the month of September through EMIs. They take prior cheques for the EMIs. There is no interest. They also provide scholarships to the students based on their situation. They provide us with placement assistance.
Campus Life
Life at ISDM is friendly and helpful with fun activities. We have clubs like movie clubs etc. where we collectively enjoy social issue movies together with popcorn. The infrastructure is nice, they use digital technology for teaching. We have all the facilities on campus like air conditioning, a lift, a coffee machine, lunch (on paid basis) etc. We also have students' activities to chill after class so that the students get to know each other more. We celebrate festivals and foundation day on campus. There are books (of different categories) available in the library as well.
