Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

As I aimed to become a Software Engineer I chose this course. There might be 10% of faculty for each branch of around 600-800 students. Most of my lecturers have good teaching experience and did Ph.D.'s in their respective subjects. They explain very well and clear our doubts without any hesitation. We have mid-term exams every one and half months. Most of us scored well in them. Coming to the final semester exam it used to be a little difficult as it is JNTUH affiliated. Our average grade in each sub would be B+.

Placement Experience

4

Yes, we have placements. From 3-2 semesters, the campus placements start. Companies like TCS, JRA, HCL, WIPRO, Capgemini, Face Prep, etc. The highest package is 20 lakhs per annum and the average package is 5 lakhs per annum. On average 40% of the students are being placed. I would give my best to get placed in campus placements itself.

Fees and Financial Aid

I need to pay 40000 on the total basis per year. I get a scholarship of 3000 per year. College is giving me a scholarship of 25000 based on my score in Intermediate. This boosts up students like me to buildup careers. We also have campus jobs based on our interests. I don't have much knowledge about this.

Campus Life

4.5

We have a technical fest that is celebrated yearly once in a grand way. There will be many events conducted on different topics. They give us good knowledge. we can find plenty of academic books in our library. We even have access to paid journals. Our classrooms give a positive environment o studying and have a projector for a quality explanation. We have NCC and NSS. We spend 3 hours in a week on sports playing in a big playground having different courts. We have national-level platforms like IEEE, CSI, IOT, etc. that are run by students. This helps us increase our networking along with verbal and non-verbal communication.

Admission

I have written a state-level exam named EAMCET. Anyone who had passed 12th can apply for this. You can find updates regarding these exam dates and fees in telegram or news. I have qualified in this with a good rank. we have 3 phases to select colleges. In the first phase, I mentioned VEC as my first option for studying B.Tech in the stream of CSM and then the second option was the same college but CSD, and so on. I got a seat in VEC in CSD(computer science-data science) according to my category(OBC). I decided to go to this college and submitted my joining letter along with other documents and I got my admission in this way. It all went smoothly and better I feel.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.
