Course Curriculum Overview

The course comprises of 4-year academics in which 1st and 2nd years are non-clinical and from 3rd year we get clinical postings. In 5th year we are posted in different departments as interns.BDS constitutes of 9 different departments

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 198000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship is generally one year. In which students are clubbed in various groups and then they are posted in a different department. Throughout the year a student gets posted in all departments. Interns regularly do patients.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are around 2 LPA and students get benefits of reservation schemes such as scholarships and also they get benefits of government schemes such as Maidhavi Vidhyarthi schemes. I got a reservation scholarship as I come under the OBC category

Campus Life

The whole year different departmental activities like conferences and cultural activities take place. Classrooms consist of projectors. The library section is very big and consists of plenty of books to read and study

Admission

I appeared In the NEET UG entrance exam then I was allotted to the CDSH college through an online counselling process. I got my college in 2nd round of counselling. I got a scholarship as my reservation benefit. All the best to future aspirants.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college is close to my home town and fees is reasonable this two things influence me to choose this course. College prepare at its level but we have to prepare ourselves for each and every hurdle in practice and clinics. The teaching methods of college is very old and slow they should try new methods so that students also take interest in studies. Timing of exams are not fix they take exams any time , they take internals before 1 month of final exams , college not give us paper leave.

At BDS there is a yearly system of exams, but before that you have to go through internal exams [2 internal exams and 1 pre-university exam] and attendance is mandatory. One must attend all the classes to appear for an examination. Attendance must be above 75%.
