Life @IBS

I choose this course because I want to pursue studies in management and also want to make a career in marketing and finance. Faculty members are Ph.D. and highly qualified. The teaching method of faculty members is very nice, they teach every part of the syllabus in detail and case discussions are also done in detail. For term exams, there were Mid-term and End-term exams in each semester and exams are not that easy to clear.

The company in which I completed my internship is "Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages" and the role offered to me was MGR (Market Growth Representative). Projects I worked on are increasing sales of 1L CSD and reducing ZBC.

From 3rd semester after summer internship students are eligible for placements. Around 20-25, companies visit colleges every year from BFSI and FMCG sectors. The highest package offered is 25 lakhs which are international placement and the average package is 6.5 lakhs. 100% of students getting placed.

This year fees were increased 1 lakh. and if we talk about the cost of study there are two things. First, if you are from the same town then cost incurred up to 10 lakhs including tuition fees and transportation, and other expenses. Second, if you are moving from another town then it will be between 11 and 12 lakhs including tution fees accommodation, food, etc.

Moving to life on the IBS campus there are a lot of activities organized by students. An annual fest named SCINTILLA is organized in the month of January. The campus has a library with 24000+ books available for students. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned and have boards, projector screens, and displays. Sports organized are cricket, badminton, and football. There are clubs for marketing, finance, and other competition organized by clubs regularly.

For admission to ICFAI Business School candidates can apply through IBSAT. This is the entrance exam conducted by IBS itself. Candidate is eligible for course if he/she scored equivalent or more than 50% in graduation. Application for IBSAT is available on the website of college.
