Entrance Preview

I took EAMCET entrance examination to pursue Mechanical Engineering. As my college matches to my ideology to fulfil my dreams by sticking to the obligations providing the better infrastructure in terms of faculty, equipment, labs from the technical side. At the same time, I found there would be a better chance to improve my social skills by grooming my self in participating ongoing events like Symposiums, college cultural events, workshops and techfests. This entrance test consists of 160 questions comprising of Maths,Physics and Chemistry subjects and I got 105 marks to get the admission into my desired stream.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

There would always a great opportunity to learn and explore the new things in terms of engineering subjects. The course structure has been designed in such way that, the subject basics will be part of the initial phase of learning and later on it would help us in focus on our own ideas to achieve the better results.

Internships Opportunities

My college doesn't have any tie-up internship programmes with corporate and public sectors companies during my academic year of study. But later on I came to know that the few corporate companies adopting with this now.

Placement Experience

4

We got an ample number of companies for the placements to select the talented students to provide a good job opportunity, among the companies visited to my college TCS and Tech Mahindra were recruited the student in high number. There after,Infosys,Capgemini and Syntel are in next place. TCS recruited around 96 students and before completion of the course and I am also the one who got selected in that.Next, there were around 106 students got selected for TechMahindra TCS had offered higher package than other with 3.16 L per annum and there was a package difference of 10-15K between the other companies.

College Events

5

We have been celebrating few technical and cultural events during every year. Testfest would be hosted at the branch level, where technical paper presentation, poster presentations, quizzes and workshops were part of this. The best among these will be selected and promoted to university level presentations.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yeah, the fee was quite reasonable.I paid 23K per anum during my 4 years study.Which includes building fund as well.We need to pay the examination fee separately which doesn't come under the actual one.like this, we have hostel fee for the below who joined and studied remotely and bus fee for the day scholars. I had been awarded a government scholarship of 5k per year during the course of study.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got a yearly scholarship of 5k during my study period from the government.Which helped in paying for the travel expenses as I am not a hostler and travelled to college on daily by bus. I have applied bank loan of 1 Lack in total for my 4 years of study and my college administration helped with the documentation that needs to be submitted to the bank for the approval of the education loan.

Campus Life

5

There was no partiality between the students though there were a diversified people in the college. We always had a good rapport among our selves which enabled us to share our thoughts with each other. Extracurricular activities, sports and dance competitions were part of yearly college social events to express our talents, which had created the uniqueness with the others.

Hostel Facilities

5

We have very well established hostel facility with all the amenities and protein food.Though the hostel fee was little higher, people preferred to stay there instead of going for an outside PGs.If in case of a parent or relative visit, college management arranged the hassle-free accommodation.

Alumni/Alumna

We have a best alumni network, which drove us to interact with senior students to get the doubts clarified. It developed a good relationship with seniors, which led to the good support and encouragement from senior to participate in all kind of events.

Exam Structure

Engineering subjects are quite interesting to learn.Due to the best way to teaching the subjects by the faculty,I had put in a less effort during the examination time, where the content of any methods/functionalities were depicted with an example in classroom as well as in labs. Thus, it didn't put much stress on me during the examinations.

Admission

After the written exam, there was a notification released by the AP Education department to proceed with the allotment of Engineering seats based on the candidates ranking in EAMCET,which will be done in through counselling to give the options to the students to choose the colleges and branches based on their area of interest. This has happened 2 months after the examination. In order attend the counselling we need to carry few mandatory academic certificates to valid and it has been done by EAMCET administrative authorities. After that, the candidate would be shown with an option of colleges and groups available in the system. Finally, the candidate will make a choice and the admission allotment letter will be given to the candidate with the date of joining in the respective college.

Faculty

5

Well, I am quite lucky enough to get such kind to faculty. The faculty roles and responsibilities will be defined and administrated by the Head of the department of each engineering stream, where the on boarded lecturers were befitted to execute their plan by incorporating the best technical practices.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.
