SMC college

I chose this course because I was interested in commerce. I wanted to learn more about business and accounts in general. The teacher-student ratio is 1: 60 . Faculty has basic qualifications and are well experienced. Term exams were after 4 to 5 months and it was easy for those who studied and difficult for those who didnt study.

Few companies have come to campus. I will not mention details as they recruit only 2 or 3 people. This is a college that makes students independent, rather than depending on campus placements. Students apply for jobs or go for higher studies.

Fees are less compared to other colleges. Scholarship such as NSP, SSP and other specific scholarships are available. There are very few companies on campus . This year 3 companies came diya systems, icici bank and another us based software company,

The overall campus has average facilities and social interactions are done a lot. There is a commerce association, NSS, NCC, Rovers and Rangers etc. There are several resources in the library. Students also organise various college activities.

It was easy, no interview only filled simple application form and got direct admission. You have to pass the 10th, and 12th to join this program. You can either get the application form online or from the college office. The college offers various scholarships.
