Course Curriculum Overview

4

As this has been a University and its placements I chose this college in 2022 for computer science engineering. I got admission in computer engineering-data science i.e. CSE-DATA SCIENCE. Faculty: student ratio is pretty decent among all the branches of engineering, but for the CSE department it's a bit low as there were no sufficient lecturers for teaching CS subjects and depends on contract faculty. As for teaching every class has digital boards and speakers, vast classrooms of capacity of 60-80 ppl and teaching is very decent and the management takes action on any faculty if he/she was unable to deliver the classes properly. There are two term exams which were referred to as CIAT - Cumulative Internal Assessment Test per semester. Clearing the subjects and examinations is a bit easy

Placement Experience

5

Placements are quite good at MBU. From 2nd year itself, they'll start a placements training program and has various opportunities to interact with companies and to other ideas etc. Most of the software companies like Wipro, Accenture, Tech-Mahindhra etc will be visiting every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study will be approximately 3.7L per year including a hostel without any written exam. If you were qualified in MBUCET and got a good rank the fee structure may vary. Specifically, there aren't any scholarships provided by the college. As for placements, there's a good chance of getting a good-salary job at MBU. As this has been changed to university in 2022 there are many drastic changes in placements regarding the number of companies and highest packages.

Campus Life

4

The annual day will be mostly conducted in March on Sree vidyanikethan school grounds. There'll be bouncers throughout the campus and has full control over students. They are a bit rash to deal with as they are directly under the control of Mohan Babu. Phones are not allowed inside the campus. Except on traditional days, non-uniform is not allowed except we have permission from the dean. As this is a university there are no hod instead we have deans and dean freshmen. The library is very special here and has various books Clubs are usually formed by students under the control of a faculty and have various clubs to participate in. Sports are very much encouraged if we are willing will be trained on SVIS grounds

Hostel Facilities

3

As for hostels there are two types, one is main hostel called as ' V ' block which is inside the campus and a bit restricted but has all the needs fullfilled like mess hall, good infrastructure, security , and a campus to roam free but upto 7:40 only. After that hostel gates will be closed. And for outside hostels will differ and also prices but all these comes under Valmaar hostel that run by the college itself. As for the food I sayy half items will be good and some are a 9/10 dishes and sometimes it's worst. Mostly college management won't allow 1,2 and 3rd years to live in PG's but the price varries from 46,000 - 55,000

Admission

For engineering, we have to qualify APEAPCET or MBUCET examination. But from 2023 there are rumours that the APEAPCET entrance exam will not be considered for admission to MBU. To apply through MBUCET or direct admission we can consult the college management through MBU college's official website. Semester fees is of 70,000 And hostel fees vary from 85,000 - 1,50,000 depending on the hostel we take. It has remaining college fees like building funds, admission fees, lab fees, library fees etc which will be explained at the time of admission If we were through APEAPCET we'll get Reservation benefits, like if our EAPCET rank was too high, there's a chance of getting a seat in MBU through EAPCET. Except this, there are no other benefits
