Course Curriculum Overview

My passion is art and I aim to work in the media field. Our faculties are creative and they teach skills easily. Term exams are not tough because portions are completed within the span. Slip tests are easy to score marks in semester exams. The faculty is also qualified, also they treat you very well.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Internships Opportunities

We start our internship process in the second year. I personally feel that this is more useful for Viscom students to start their careers by developing Industrial skills and getting exposed to the field.

Placement Experience

Almost all the students are placed every year in good companies through our college placement cell. The college equips us by giving us prior training, facing interviews, and other skills required to face an interview.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fees in our college are cost-effective and also reasonable when compared to other colleges for the same course. Financial assistance and scholarships are also available. Those who are in need can approach our office.

Campus Life

We celebrate all kinds of festivals like Onam, Christmas, and Pongal. We have all kinds of books and journals available in our college library to improve our knowledge. Our college encourages women's crickets and we have achievers in the same.

The pros and cons of avinuty

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relavant to the coarse,iam a nutrition student and I came to study abot nutrition,but I have also learnt about microbiology, food evaluation,food making,food safety rules,food entrepreneurship etcc which increases the variety of opportunities based to the course. Iam happy that iam learning about diet planning which is why I chooses this course. It really helps in real world opportunities as they allow intership s,practicals,practices, competition etc.. The area it needs improvement is the language skills of the professors as there are other states students there some people cannot understand tamil so they have to teach intwo languages. The timings of exams is not that bad there is one and half month gap between exams.

Actually the college provides placement for the students and especially to the lower background students at the max. The college collaoborate with the govt. dept. to create placement drives in the college. The salary is not that much attractive still its okay only.

Placement Experience:

The placement will be happening for the 3rd year students who have registered already by paying 6000 rs. The topics companies like Accenture, TCS, wipro,etc come for placements. The highest package is around 3.5 lakhs per annum . I am opting for higher studies.

From semester 5 the students will be eligible for the placements .there is no particular placement classes for the students.Students have to separately prepare for it by their own.By naan mudhalvan scheme many companies have visited our college but most of them are the start up companies and average package will be 2 LPA And 3LPA will be the highest package.Many students got placed from many departments like40%.

Remarks:

The infrastructure of the college campus is very good and peaceful as well. My college has a vast library which works from 8.30 a.m to 5.30 p.m on all working days and study holidays. Here if a student wants to borrow any other books other than his/her course, they need to seek prior permission of the Principal to get them books.
