I chose this course from this college because my aim of getting good training and skills and the field of dentistry was fulfilled here. The faculty: student ratio in the College of dental science and Hospital, Rau is good. Highly qualified faculties are present to guide all the time. Internal and practical exams are timely and we need to study well to pass the exam.

Internships Opportunities

Clinical postings in all the departments are conducted regularly according to the proper schedule. Regular camps and events are conducted for overall development. Regular discussions and viva are also conducted in the departments for the active participation of all students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the batch 2018 was 1,98,000 with a 10k admission bond for the first year. Scholarships are available for candidates of SC, ST, and OBC. The non-cream layer of OBC also gets the benefit of scholarships.

Campus Life

Fests of different departments are conducted timely. Fests include different curricular and extra-curricular activities. Well-equipped library with all the books and journals available. Classrooms are also well maintained with projector facilities in each class.

Admission

Entrance exam- NEET- UG The application form was available on the DCI site. Notifications regarding the form fees and exam dates are available on the site. Seat allotment and counseling were conducted online followed by an offline registration process at the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college is close to my home town and fees is reasonable this two things influence me to choose this course. College prepare at its level but we have to prepare ourselves for each and every hurdle in practice and clinics. The teaching methods of college is very old and slow they should try new methods so that students also take interest in studies. Timing of exams are not fix they take exams any time , they take internals before 1 month of final exams , college not give us paper leave.

At BDS there is a yearly system of exams, but before that you have to go through internal exams [2 internal exams and 1 pre-university exam] and attendance is mandatory. One must attend all the classes to appear for an examination. Attendance must be above 75%.
