Remarks

Overall experience has been fine till now the management has been okay and not too problematic or indifferent to the issues of students.

Entrance Preview

I gave IP University entrance exam for this course and was allotted this college according to my rank.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course is good. All the subject are the ones that would be useful to the person entering the industry in this field. Covers everything that would be necessary for students. Although focus on field work exposure could be increased a bit. Other than that I have no problems with the course.

Internships Opportunities

I do not know if they provide any internships directly but they do sometimes recommend students to particular internships.

Placement Experience

2.5

The college website says the placements are good but the faculty hasn't directly provided any information on the placements so I do not know the placement statistics and conditions of the college. Neither do I have the recent data on the placements from the pass out batch.

College Events

2.5

Our college organizes various events throughout the year. Even celebrates some festivals. They even conduct various seminars and conferences through the year. Some events are even based on particular issues and raise awareness regarding that issue.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is a bit on the expensive aide according to me. It's not as expensive as the private colleges demand but still feels expensive if we are not getting the services we paid the amount for. Considering the amount that we are paying we deserve a lot better for that price.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not have any knowledge about any such policy or schemes regarding loans or scholarships for financial help.

Campus Life

3

My course has a larger proportion of females as compares to males. It has students from various states as well. It's good in terms of sports and competitions as well. It Is not too involved in politics and is fairly diverse. I do not have any idea about the economic status of the students.

Hostel Facilities

2

Our college does not have hostel services and no affiliation with any PG. Students that are from outside Delhi quota find PGs that are at a close distance to the college and are affordable. But Our college has a canteen and the food quality is fine.

Alumni/Alumna

Most interaction I've had with seniors was during the first two weeks of college but they are fairly helpful an provide the details of how things work in the college.

Exam Structure

The internals certainly do have that hectic vibe due to the written and viva exams being held on adjacent dates without even a day's gap, but the external exams are set comfortably leaving time in between to revise the syllabus, having two or three days to go over everything.

Admission

The Institute was allotted according to my rank, then I had to visit the college campus with all the documents. It was a bit messy as the university did not provide any list of the documents required and the list put up by the main university did not exactly match that required by the college.

Faculty

2.5

Faculty is fine. Some of it has recently joined the college. They are well qualified in their particular fields. Some of the faculty is very strict. But then I guess it is sometimes necessary to maintain the discipline. In short the faculty is okay.

The college has really more to do with its placement cell because students are not getting opportunities as they expect. The companies which come for placement drive are from limited domains and they also offer very normal package.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is functional and active. The chances depend on the course that you have opted for. The placements are really good for commerce, economics, Maths, Stats but for the other department's students it might be a bit challenging to find a company of their domain. The students become eligible to sit in placement from 5th semester. The companies that visit my college are Godrej, BCG, McKinsey, Nation with Namo, Blackstone, Accenture, KPMG, EY, citibank, microsoft and Amazon etc.
