Remarks

For faculty labs exams and classes it is the best. As earlier i never liked the mess and crowd. I would personally suggest this college if you want to pursue your career in Physics.

Entrance Preview

This college had the best faculty for Bachelors of Science especially Physics. I was in this college for 12th Science so I was well aware about the faculty and teaching facilities of this college. I was always interested in Physics and this was the best college in my sight.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

If you are interested in Physics and wants to pursue your career in Physics then go for it. Just don't opt this course if you are not interested. There are many good things to learn in Physics. One of the best was Nuclear Physics and Theory of Relativity. If you select this course just make sure you focus more time on research and practicals.

Internships Opportunities

College does not provide any internship related to this course. Still you get such excellent course knowledge other co curriculum activities that will definitely will help you get good jobs.

Placement Experience

2.5

Well for this course not a lot of companies come. This course is best for jobs like teaching or research. I personally went for research on a particular subject after completing my course. Not a lot of companies will prefer you. This course is best for teaching and research scientist.

College Events

4.5

There are 4 major events which occur every year and many traditional festivals are celebrated over here. All of them are pretty big as it include Inter College participation of students. Last year there was a event organized for the science students on Robotics. One of the biggest fest is EHLAAN which occur during the last month of the year by management students. You would enjoy this one for sure.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is very feasible.I believe its around 4900 per year. Rest there is no extra cost just pay the fee amount and you are good to go. There might be several other things you need to buy like Journals Lab equipment and other things which doesn't cost more.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes they have scholarships provided to the minorities. I never personally never was interested in this topic. So I don't know a lot about this stuff. But yes there are scholarship programs available.

Campus Life

4

Campus life was awesome if you find good friends. The crowd is very large as there are almost all courses availed in this college.Gender ratio is almost good. For Commerce and Arts the ratio is almost equal only in Physics dept the ratio was 75:25. This college is also known for its sports. Various sports are available over here. We had to always do a group discussion once a week on the topics provided by teachers and it was very good and it helped everyone in various dept like communication and listening skills speaking skills etc.

Hostel Facilities

1

I personally never liked the mess food. They were very bad in terms of cleanliness. I don't know about the current situation of the mess but during my days i never liked it. After repeatedly writing complaints and suggestions in the suggestion it never changed.I would suggest you bring your Tiffin box or else there is a good restaurant nearby which is affordable and the quality of food is very good

Alumni/Alumna

Yes many senior students help their juniors.Students who passed out from this college and are successful in their careers do visit again to inspire and speak few words related to their careers to the students. And those speeches really helps as it focusing on the subject which we selected. It creates an good positive attitude that we can achieve many good things if we work hard.

Exam Structure

We have 2 Semesters and 2 Mid term test for each year.and especially in Third year while appearing for University Board exams college provides a trial test which is for the students to perform better in boards. Labs were very open and the assistants were very helpful with the students. One would not feel it bad unless he is in some kind of trouble

Admission

I was called by the staffs regarding the admissions. There was no problem regarding admission process.Just had to fill couple of forms and you are good to go. As I was a previous student of this college so I directly got the admission as there is always seats reserved for in house.

Faculty

5

The faculty is one of the best for this course in Mumbai I would personally suggest this college for Physics. Just get in touch with the teachers and they will help you out in any situation. All of them would love to teach if a student is willing to. Most of the students just think of just getting pass and get rid. If you are one of them then I would suggest this course is not for you. Do it if you are interested.

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS
