Remarks

Bad was that only rules were made not followed. College management so weak and slow. Good about the college was too much friends, too much fun, bunks, late night at message, etc. College should make the management strict and make some changes helpful for

Entrance Preview

I took UPSEE and got around 32000 rank back in 2009. I had also given AIEEE but didn't clear that so only option was UPTU. I had choosen vishveshwarya at my rank because I have heard about the past record which was good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is almost similar either we talk about UPSEE or AIEEE but in UPSEE it is more theoritical than being practical. But the faculty of the college was not up to the mark.

Internships Opportunities

I had a worst experience. We had to study on our own because was not upto the mark. They were not able to explain in detail. Only few companies came like mintree ,tcs. Stipend was around 3.2 lac per annum.

Placement Experience

There were almost negligible placement. Only tcs recruited about 60 students at 3.2 lac per annum. All other companies only 3-4.Max of 80-90 students were placed of 500 students.

Campus Life

Campus life was good except study, a lot of good moments shared . Gender ratio was a problem in all engineering colleges. Same was there. Extracurricular activies were normal but used to happen. Labs were of no means.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni Network was not so good. But the senior Students were good, friendly and supportive.

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

HBTU review from a Ist year student.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.
