My course is BCA i.e Bachelor in computer applications. I chose it because of my personal interest as well as the demand for IT Sector in the market. Faculties are very interactive with students, they are highly knowledgeable thus their teaching method is easy to grab.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 113000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee structure start year is 133000, the second year it's 113000 at last year it's 101000. The college provides two ways of payment, self-mode payments. BSCC (BIHAR STUDENT CREDIT CARD) where the Bihar state government provides you a maximum of 4 lahks of student loan.

Campus Life

The college provides u with very interesting opportunities to develop your skill via function or through extra curriculum activities. The college always tries to do something extra for the students to enjoy as well as learn well. The college has different groups clubs and also organizes trips. Educational and industrial visits with exploring the cities.

Admission

The admission process is simple. first, we have to clear the entrance exam then you have to clear PI. Whoever is the 12th pass out from any stream can apply. You have to apply for all the application forms offline at the college branch.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of 3 years and the best part of this course is that it is divided in six semester which makes is easier to understand all the subjects and to learn properly and to gain knowledge. The exams are taken on a period of six months.

College is overall good but still needs improvement

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements in their final year. They can also apply for internships in between. It helps a lot to add an edge to their CV as work experience. Many companies like HCL, Lenovo, Tata Consultancy, Wipro etc., visit the college for placements. The previous year, many offers were made, some students got placements in HCL and three or four got in Tata Consultancy. Highest package till now was 33 LPA by HCL and the average package was 7 LPA. Note that it's not only your academics that will show you to the companies, you must have any extra abilities or talents or rather work experience for a better package. Almost 60% of students placements. If you don't get on-campus placement, don't worry you can apply for off-campus placements, just be confident and present your best in interviews. I am currently in my 2nd year, and after completing my degree, I am planning to have further studies of MCA from a good university in Delhi.

7th semester for BTech and 5th semester for BCA and diploma students are eligible for campus placement. Campus placements are not so good but some small company visits the campus for placement. 30 to 40% of students getting placed with an average of 16-20k per month and a maximum of 30k.

CIMAGE Overview

It was my first college which I applied and got admitted there. This college is nearby to my home which was well suited to me and my family members. Moreover it is currently one of the leading colleges of my city so I went ahead and took admission. I didn't apply for other colleges.
