Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because of the work and growth provided in this field and it's an excellent subject to study microorganisms and their effect on our daily life. The faculty are PhD scholars and the knowledge they have is brilliant, although it is a tricky subject with their flow of teaching the syllabus looks a bit easier. The exams happen once a year and it is conducted by the university and the difficulty level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities
The placement and internship opportunities are growing for the students every year and students are getting placed in big companies like Tata, HDFC, Cipla, L&T etc. Students are selected for the internship offered by BIRAC which provides them with research-ship opportunities.
Placement Experience
Students get placement opportunities from their final years and the average package is 3.5lpa and which can go up to 12lpa depending on the calibre of the student. Companies like sun pharma, Cipla and many others from different sectors come for placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees asked for the course are pretty decent as it does not require external teaching or coaching. You can easily cover and understand the syllabus itself as most of the syllabus is for 11 and 12th grade with a bit of detail.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is good and you will interact with students from different departments. The books are easily available in the library. You have a fully ventilated room and ac cooled labs for the experiment. Sports day and cultural fest are also organized by the college. NSS and NCC groups are also present and operate actively.
Admission
Any student coming from a science background can opt BSc Microbiology is a good field for students choosing their future in life science's research and innovation sectors. You can fill up the form every year in July and the application is open till September. You can fill out the form through mponline.gov.in and select the preferred college. Reservation is also provided while taking part in the counselling process.
