I have obtained my b.sc honours agriculture degree from Jagannath University. And I found the same about agriculture faculty as I had heard before admission. The faculty here is awesome and very supportive, and all have good experience

There are many companies that come to the campus every year and offer internships. And a lot of students go there For example, if I talk about the agriculture department, then when I was in the last semester, about 21 to 23 companies had come.

Placement of students starts from the 8th semester very good placement is seen in Jagannath University About 85 to 90 per cent of students get placed easily. If I talk about the average package then it will be around 6 to 8 lakhs.

In mine college students are eligible after 8th semester for the get an better placement in bsc hons agriculture. Average package is approximate 3 to 4 lakh and highest package is around 7-8 lakh annually. Different levels to sit in the placement, Firstly students interested for placement are listed , then they are divided in groups and each group is given with a topic for debate , student which are more effective and efficient speaker are selected from each group . Not any fix cgpa is required but 6.5 and above is average. I am planning to do masters in this branch.

Placement Experience:

From 7-8 semester students become eligible for campus placement. Companies visited like ibm , Infosys, wipro , tcs. Percentage of students getting placement is 30 % that is very low. My plan is to study for masters in agronomy.
