College 10km away from main city from madurai
Average and old lab equipments and many are not working
Decent canteen and mess facilities with limited no. of food

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose mechanical engineering since I had an interest in mechanics. In our college, the faculty-to-student ratio is approx. 1:20. All the faculty of our department are very well qualified and experienced. The exams ate conducted monthly.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 55000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester onwards the students with standing no arrears and cgpa of 7.0 and higher are eligible for placements. The highest package offered is around 6LPA. The average package offered is around 4LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the students admitted through the counseling process is approx. 55000 per year and for the management quota, the fee is 85000 per year. There are various scholarships provided both by colleges and the government.

Campus Life

The annual cultural day is conducted in March end and the annual sports meet is conducted in February. For college, the library is very well stocked. The classrooms are also good. The sports facilities are also very good.

Admission

The eligibility of my course is 50 percent aggregate in physics, chemistry, and maths in class 12. For counseling quota admission around 150 cutoffs are required. The application form can be found online and offline.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.
