A review on JNTU-GV

During my schooling, I was more interested to study physics and mathematics so I prefer to engineering as more concepts in engineering are physics and mathematics. The faculty in our college are great the student-teacher ratio is 1:6. The semester is completed in six months total working days in a semester would be hard 150 days and the exam are conducted every 45 days. All our faculty graduated some completed there m.tech and some completed there Ph.D.

No internship opportunities are available, if we are interested we should go to the companies where we like to do the internship. No opportunities were provided by the college. I did an internship at Hindustan shipyard limited in Vishakapatnam for a month during my seventh semester.

The placements in the college are good. Students after the third year are eligible for placement recruitment. The recruitment exam is conducted after the third year. Mostly based companies are recruiting students. The companies from the respective stream are fewer. The highest package is 8lacs per annum. Mostly 80% of students are placed. I am going to opt for the Job.

There are some fees to pay like tuition fees of around 10000 per year hostel fees of 40000 per month examination fees of 770/per semester. The scholarship was provided by the state government and we can apply to any private scholarships accordingly. I got placed in Larsen and Toubro company during my b tech with a package of 6lpa.

Every year there will be a technical fest conducted in February by all branches individually. The library facility is good and all types of books and journals required are available in our library. The encouragement towards sports will be less in this college no one will bother about students' expenses. If you are participating in any sports meet representing the college no money will be provided on holidays indoor stadium in the college is closed. So no students were motivated to make clubs so no clubs are available.

The hostel facility is quite good four hostels are available two for boys and two for girls. Student coordinated mess is available fees paid is accommodation fees of 7500 per year and mess bill 2000-3000 per month. The registration process is so simple just we need to pay the fee and get the application form. In the college locality, there is no availability of rooms or pg's. The food in the mess is good.

I wrote the APECET examination to get admission to this college I scored 23rank for applying the exam you should visit the APECET.gov.in website and further guidelines are given in the website. Reservations benefits are also available such as obc, sc, st, ews based on the reservation the seat allotment is done. If the seat allotment is done by rank rather than reservation it would be beneficial to merit students
