DHARANI P's Review On Sankara Institute Of Management Science - [SIMS], Coimbatore

Overall college and college life was good, I can recommend the college to different students. There were different counselling and mentoring sessions were there, world class facilities were provided like computer lab, canteen, sports room, hostel facilities, Wi-Fi facilities, AC seminars hall. Placement was also good. SIMS is and will always be doing great.

Getting admission in MBA students must have 50% marks in graduation or UG degree. Entrance exam should also be a part of Admission process in SIMS. I have given MAT entrance which was easy to achieve the MBA target as I was preparing a lot for that. Entrance were so easy for me I can say practice makes a women's perfect. Just prepare well that all I can say.

Placement record of SIMS was more than 75%. Many good companies come for the placement activities like RBS, City bank, Airtel, Vodafone, Infosys, HCL, HDFC, Yes bank. Package goes up to 7LPA. Interpersonal skills training was given to every students like mock interview, group discussion and career development cell was also there.

Hostel facilities was there for the students who wants to take the hostel facilities. Boys and girls hostel was different. Boys have two types of hostels one is single seater and other was four seater the cost was different. Girls have only four seater room was there, proper security was there. No one is allowed from outside with permission.

SIMS faculties was so supportive nature. Have so much of academic and industry experience. SIMS have permanent Faculty that stays in the college and have guest faculty also. They helped in the placement process from the 1 day. They always gives the tips for how to handle life in small small situations.
