Overall a good engineering college

I chose the IT department since I had an interest in the IT field and technology field. The faculty-to-student ratio in my department is approx 1:20. The staffs are highly quilt and well-experienced. The semester exams are tough to clear. The pass percentage is around 60.

Many companies visit our college during the placement program. More than 500 offers came last year and around 400 students got placed in some well-reputed companies like TCS, Infosys, HCL, etc. The highest package is around 7.5LPA and the average is 4 to 4.5LPA. Around 60 to 70 per cent of students get placed.

For counselling students-55000 For management students- 85000. There are various scholarships available for students who took admitted through counselling. The scholarship amount ranges from 10000 to 25000. From the college for all first graduate students scholarship is provided

There isn't any annual fest. In our college, the cultural day Or annual day is only celebrated in May. There are many tech fests conducted throughout the year. At least a tech fest is conducted in a month by one or the other department. There are good sports facilities available and various social groups are present.

For my IT department during my admission, the cutoff required to get admission through counseling quota is 170. For the management quota, the student is required to get at least 50 percent aggregate in physics, chemistry and maths. The application form is available online and offline at the Klnce office in Periyar.
