Course Curriculum Overview

All the staff is friendly and easygoing. Some staff stays in the hostel too. Each department has at least 40 staff. Except for one or two subjects other subjects are easy to clear each semester. Seminars are present.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 61000 per year

Internships Opportunities

TCS, decathlon, Asian paints, Zoho,bsnl, etc...From our final project also placement will be done. Some companies conduct Direct interviews but some companies will have many rounds. To develop our communication classes will be conducted.

Placement Experience

Nearly 70% of students get placed every year. Some companies come to our campus, sometimes we have to go to their company. Training will be provided to students from the third year itself. All facilities will be provided by the college. The placement officer is very friendly.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees can be paid at the beginning of each academic year. Hostel fees are higher than college fees. But the hostel has almost all the facilities. A delay in paying fees will be added as a penalty. But no other extra fees will be collected.

Campus Life

My college has a Wi-Fi facility at full speed. We have a Rotaract club, sports club, etc. An Instagram page is maintained by our college. We have CCTV cameras everywhere and cleaners are available all time.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is the best in my entire college. We have laundry, wifi, cleaners, and three persons per room (single cot) We have two messes with the best food. Evening snacks are too good. We may not know how the passes are in the hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 71000 per year

Admission

My admission was easy as I got selected by counseling. Anna University counseling is the best for engineering courses for both undergraduate and Postgraduate. The time limit for admission is also flexible.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

The network connectivity in girls hostel is poor
The food at mess is average sometimes it is not taste
The practical labs are help at distance.

Placement Experience:

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

Dislikes

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students
College provide only theoretical knowledge students for practical skills

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.

I got seat at srm chennai but it was too long for me and it couldnt manage the travel because i should catch the bus at morning 6 am and i will return to home around 5 50pm. So nearly 12 hours. So rejected it and choose rec chennai because it is near to my location. I will catch the bus at 6 55 am and i will come to home at 4 15 pm. I wasnt applied to other clg so there is no rejection.Simple admission process just show ur orginal 12th certificate and cutoff marks.If your abive 80% cutoff u can pay minimum donation if doesnt enough for the course which u applied. Counselling is the better way to avoid donations and cutoffs may change for the caste....Read More
