Remarks

Campus life was definitely fun. Gender ratio was almost same, boys and girls were equal in number. People joined my college from different parts of the country from north to south. Extracurricular activities were conducted like i mentioned earlier. Labs were excellent. Sports was tremendous, we had 2 sports teachers and my college used to participate in Inter-collegiate fests for sports.

Entrance Preview

Candidate should pass with minimum 45% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA and any bachelor’s degree with maths or statistics at 10+2 level or higher level examination.

Placement Experience

Placements are pretty good as well. Few companies come to college and also they conduct pool campus placements. I was placed to HP and they offered me 3.4 lpa. Next day of my placement with HP, TCS came to my college offering around same package. Since I was already placed, I was not allowed tp attend that.

Campus Life

Campus life was good. 201 computers are connected through central servers. Latest Licensed software and 24 hour internet access are some of the salient features of well-equipped Computer Labs. The institute library does have more than 22,794 books, journals and magazines. A spacious reading hall provides necessary ambiance for study.

Alumni/Alumna

We have all the alumni of the college connected through a social media. Network is big as of now. This is really helpful to keep in touch with all the seniors, juniors and my classmates.

Faculty

My college had a pretty good, knowledgeable lecturers who were very helpful towards building my knowledge and career. Lecturers used to give us written notes, we used to take photocopy of that and learn from that. They were very keen in helping their students to understand the topics they taught.

Reality of College

Placement Experience:

Placements are Normal in my college like, Freshers get less package like 2.4 LPA but they get placed as I have listened from seniors. Like I am in first year now I dont have much knowledge about this.

Good for near by students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Talking about the courses which chhatrapati shivaji maharaj University provides are good they almost provide all the courses students have choices which course they want to choose. From my perspective all the teachers should improve their teaching method because csmu teachers don't teach students well. Exams which is held usually after one and a half month of college starting is of 1 hour duration and our semester exam duration is 3 hours and exam level is average students can score well in exams.

Highest package that company offered was 5LPA and lowest was 1LPA . 99% students got there placements from ASM IMCOST college which is a great thing . Most of the college struggle to get placement . My plans after getting the degree is simple just work and enjoy my every moment

Invest in learning through our college.

It can be a good option. I will list down the pros and cons. Pros : 1. The campus is fabulous. (Fountains everywhere) 2. Placements are pretty decent. 3. Different parts of college are connected. 4. Wi-Fi facility is quite good. 5. Cafeteria has a great vibe. 6. The annual cultural & technical events are good. Cons : 1. 60% Attendance mandatory till 2nd year. 2. Most of the time just like other colleges you need to study by yourself. 3. Sometimes the management sucks. Admission:-Getting admission through cape round is according to rules but DY is always known for its back door admission based on management quota. So, both process is having a different set of rules so through cape round you have to score good marks in competitive test to get into it but if u have good money in hand then don’t worry this is college for you I have researched about this college on google on many websites. but there is detailed information on collegedunia website. you should surely visit that site....Read More
