Course Curriculum Overview

4

I liked MBBS right from my childhood as I liked helping my peers. The classroom is a widely spaced hall with 150 students. It has a high-resolution projector and good speakers to listen to the lectures. The faculties are highly qualified with very good teaching experience. They follow the CBME curriculum which helps in understanding the course better. Exams are conducted once a week and a good reading before the exams can easily fetch you >60%

Internships Opportunities

3

An MBBS internship is done in the fifth year. The college has both rural and urban branches nearby along with the main medical College. The internship will be great as we will be exposed to a large and wider number of patients from all folks of life giving a better experience.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees in total are about 7.5 Lakhs including the hostel fees which are about 1.8Lakhs. the tuition fee is 3.75L and the other miscellaneous fees make it 5.75L. There is a change in the hostel fee every year. Various scholarships like first graduate scholarship, 7.5% govt school quota, and ex-servicemen scholarship are also available

Campus Life

3.5

Annual fests are conducted once in a year and organized by the senior batch. It contains various competitions and cultural events. Sports events are also conducted. Sports are not that great here as we have to go 2 km away from the campus to reach the ground. Various clubs like Literature, Drama, Dance, and Song are run by the students under faculty guidance to participate in competitions.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel rooms are pretty new as it's only 3 years old. 2/3 sharing rooms for the first two years and single rooms for 3rd year are available with attached/without attached bathrooms. Daily cleaning of rooms and bathrooms and proper waste disposal is available. Water is available all the time with no restrictions. Food is pretty average and not to expect more. It's pretty worth the fees

Admission

I wrote the NEET exam after finishing 12th std. A minimum score of 60% in 12th std along with minimum qualification marks for NEET is required. The application form will be released by the University after the NEET results. Ranklist will be released and the candidates depending on their rank in the category they belong are called.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.
