All the interested students must have passed entrance exam with good score. I submitted my cat score and was accepted by the college. They called me for group discussion round and gave me certain case studies also. After that I gave 3 rounds of interview in which they asked me about the reason for pursuing the course and other details.

The college has named Mba as MMS i.e. master of management studies. The complete focus of the program is to help students master the complete knowledge about management. They focus purely on theoretical part for this and we used to read a lot of publications, papers, researches and other stuff to understand the reason behind every steps taken to solve a problem.

Internship program is similar to what students of MBA do in other colleges, its just that we have to only prepare a project and not a presentation based on our internship experience and about our findings and learning. The college knows how to teach and make the student excel in the field just by teaching subjects theoretically. Faculties have been trained to do this and strictly follows this approach.

Placement officer provides us a mock session right before the interview day. All the students are asked to assemble in the seminar room and given tips and tricks to crack the interview. The only problem I felt here was that all the students have different approaches and none of us were given any one on one session and we desperately needed it. Though there were few professors who helped us in their free time but that wasn't enough usually.

Faculty of the college are very educated and has a lot of experience in the corporate world but it sometimes feel that they are bound by the policies and structure of the college and are unable to share the experiences with us. They tend to follow the approach set by the college but they sometimes want to use their approaches to teach us certain topics since that subject or topic needs different approach and mindset. However, they fail to do so most of the time.
