Remarks

To get admission to this college, you have to take the EAMCET exam, which is conducted as an entrance exam to get into colleges in Andhra Pradesh. You have to complete the intermediate or 12th standard to be eligible. The application form can be obtained from eamcet results. There will be no extra fee for application if you get into college through eamcet. The application date will be within a week after eamcet counseling is over. There will be reservations according to the state's reservation percentages. The admission process has been good, it can be improved by making all the verification online.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose the electronics and communication engineering course. This course is really interesting if you are curious about both the hardware and software industries. The student-to-faculty ratio is also good, as there are many faculty members. Most of the faculty members have a doctorate in the field they are working in, so they are qualified and their teaching methods are good enough to understand. There will be 2 semesters every year, for 4 years. For each semester, there are 2 midterm exams, and their score is added in the final semester. It is not too difficult to write these exams if you prepare properly.

Internships Opportunities

4

Companies like Amazon offers internships in our college with stipends, other companies allow us to improve the experience that our college offers. We have to do projects to improve our real-life experience. The projects are done in groups.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are very good for this college. Companies like Amazon recruit from here. In the academic year 2022-23 a total of 916 jobs were offered. Companies, where many were recruited, were TCS, HCL, Accenture, Cognizant, etc. I think the highest package was 63.2 LPA, this year, offered by hetero drugs company and Amazon offered 44 LPA packages. My plans are to get placed in good company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for my branch(ECE) is 69400 per annum, but it may vary according to branch. If you join through the management quota, the initial fee will be more. There will be a government scholarship if you are qualified(JVD scholarship). The cost of the study is low compared to other colleges. The college also provides scholarships for poor and meritorious students. Financial aid will be given if you want to start a startup company. But there are no on-campus jobs for students currently.

Campus Life

3

Since I joined this college in 2020, when there was a global pandemic, there have not been any fests for 2 years. But later they started picking up again. So, there are technical fests every year. Other events are conducted based on the occasion. The library is huge, but most of the available books are technical and related to engineering or other studies, you can't find any novels there. The classrooms are pleasant and have a good atmosphere. There are vast playgrounds to play sports. There are many sports to choose from. You can even go to tournaments from this college. There are also other extracurricular activities like you can learn to play musical instruments, etc. There's an option to form social groups or clubs, gather your friends and organize events. But the only con is many students feel like they don't have time for all these, so if you are not interested in any of them, you could find campus life a little boring.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facilities are nice in the price of 45000. The rooms are good enough. The count of students per room varies based on the year of study. Freshers start 4 per room, but later there will be 5 per room. As semesters pass, they will only let you stay in the hostel if you get good grades. There is no WIFI in the hostel. But there is a computer lab where you can use fast ETHERNET although you have to buy your cable and have a laptop. There used to be hot water for baths when I joined, but now they removed it, I don't know why. Food quality is good for the price range, but sometimes it gets pretty bad (they deep fries beetroot that it changes bitter). The food menu is also average for breakfast. The hostel is beside the campus, so it is far from Guntur (you can go to nearby villages for needs which are at a walkable distance). The registration process is simple and affordable. The other cons are you are not allowed into the hostel after 8 PM if you go out and on Saturday only, you will be allowed up to 10.30 PM.
