After my 10th class, I wrote the polycet and I cleared this exam with a good rank of 11,000.and we should apply through Mee Seva through the sbtet website then after the application check, we had to put the web options during this period and I was allotted government polytechnic Ganapathy in diploma in civil engineering branch the process of admission is taking too much time.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had chosen this course due to my cousins are all civil engineers and my father also forced me to join this course. In my 1st year in 2018-2019 there are no lecturers and they were transferred to other colleges some days later the faculty came and there are good faculty in the civil engineering department in diploma for 60 students only 1 faculty is available, and the teaching skills are very good, and I also pass and clear the exams time to time there is no gap between exams for the semester that's the biggest minus in diploma.
Internships Opportunities
In 3-1, we have industrial training I Got an internship in the mission Bhagiratha department and I go daily different villages and saw the work of leakages of pipes in mission Bhagiratha, some of my friends are undergoing the roads and building department we learned the new things in that industrial training.
Fees and Financial Aid
This is a government polytechnic college so there free and we had paid 0 rupees to this college for the complete 3 years and there is a scholarship provided by the government they give some amount like 3500-4500 for every convener quota students.
Campus Life
There is no fest conducted in the college no proper sports and sports period and a great old library which will available all the books in that And every year they conduct freshers for newcomers and the students will organize that event they will take around 400-600 to that event.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms of the new building are good and some of the rooms are just okay with lots of damaged walls and the room is available of the fan, and a single coat, they provide, the meal quality is very good compared to other private hostels the will put unlimited rice at afternoon and night and morning breakfast is limited the registration process is also simple they will take 5000 as a security deposit for hostel and they will give at the end of leaving the hostels the hostel is just 100 meters away from the college.
