Remarks
The admission process is based on our EAMCET rank and the seat for the particular branches will be allotted based on our rank and the preferences we kept during counseling. If our rank meets the branch requirements then we will get a seat. During admission first, we have to pay 10000 for the building fund. There will be a separate room where admission of the freshers takes place. We need to submit all required documents to admit. The admission process is quite impressive but charging 10000 on the day of admission was not good because not everyone can pay at once. The college charges fees before the semester exam start.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have an interest in both telecommunication as well as software engineering so I chose electronics and communication engineering. The faculty strength is quite good. The faculty: student ratio is very impressive when compared to many colleges. The teaching method differs between all the teachers. Every teacher has a method of teaching. We can find it when we attend their class. There are very highly qualified teachers as well as there are freshers in teaching but the college recruits the good ones who can manage their teaching skills well. Before the term exams, we need to write two mid-exams which will be added as internal scores. We need to pass these mid-exams. Teachers will get enough time to complete their syllabus and the term I.e., semester exams are quite hard to score good marks but we can manage to get passed as the college is an autonomous college
Internships Opportunities
There are many companies for internships based on our cgpa we will get internships in different companies. Some of us have done internships in HCl, hp, and TCS on different domains. I have done an internship at skilldzire company in the cyber security domain. Coming to the projects we have done a project on how to know IP addresses through a link. For internships, there are more cons than pros coming to this college. It is better to do an internship outside or privately rather than doing an internship in the name of the college
Placement Experience
The college placements were very impressive during my engineering. Almost all the students got placed in big MNC companies and the placements started at the end of the sixth semester and went on till the end of the last semester. The highest package achieved by the student of the case. He got the package of 10lpa in Infosys and there is someone who got 7lpa packages in tcs digital. The percentage of students who got jobs will be 91% approximately. I already got a job at Capgemini in an analyst role so for now it will be continued.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is quite good when compared to other colleges. We have to pay a total of 80000 for the two semesters with an additional amount of 10000 to be paid as a building fund. We have to pay 40000 in the first semester and another 40000 in another semester. And during semester exams we need to pay 1600 as term exam fees. But the term fees need to be paid before the start of the term exam. They used to be strict on this matter. And coming to the scholarships in Andhra Pradesh most of the people get Vidyadevana which means they need not pay a single penny except the bus fees. But for lads whose parents are working in the government sector or taxpayers, they need to pay the complete fees. The bus fees of the college differ based on the areas the bus travel to. For army brats, there will be a scholarship called pass through which we will get 30000 every year. I have been placed in the MNC called CAPGEMINI through placements
Campus Life
The college life was quite good as there are some student-friendly lecturers in the institution. The infrastructure of the college is quite good as there are separate blocks for all the branches. The annual fest is conducted every year in the month of February. The good thing about the fest is they don't take money from the students. There will be tech contests on particular days like engineering day etc. There is a library in which we can find almost all the books and it is very spacious and there will be daily newspapers to read. The classrooms are quite big with projectors in every classroom as well as cc cameras to monitor every classroom. There is a social club called SAC(student activity center) where there is a lot to learn. Coming to sports the college is not impressive though there is a big ground and practice nets there are competitions conducted or any training sessions will be held.
