Entrance Preview

Students from maths and computers background can only apply in this course. They should have scored atleast 50% in class 12th and at graduation level if they are from general category and if they belong to reserved category like SC/ST/OBC then they need to have 45% atleast in class 12th and graduation. The process to get in this programme is very straight-forward.

Course Curriculum Overview

The structure of the course is designed in a way where the students are groomed and taught all about the computers and codings in depth. The students are given one assignment on daily basis which is very tiring for students but from the knowledge point of view, that's the best approach to target the weak areas of the students and make them learn the syllabus. It also improves their analytical thinking. I suggest all colleges to follow this kind of approach.

Internships Opportunities

I was very excited about the internship programme in our college since it gave us the real exposure in the field of IT. This helped us getting the latest knowledge and understand the trends in the market. Stipend was given to us of around rs9000 per month and we did internship for 4 months. The college asked us to do just for 3 months but we managed to do one more month and study side by side. This happened because I was involved in a very important project and wanted to be a part of it throughout its course of action.

College Events

College organizes a lot of events that includes all the festivals, annual day / convocation day, cultural programmes, management events and tech events, fests and a lot of music festivals. The college gives all the students a chance to be a part of the programmes and events in whichever way they like. I personally took part in the competition and performed because it was my passion. We were given awards at the end of each events.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni of the college can be reached through the forum and the portal on the college website. You need to login with your enrollment number and password and you will find a tab to connect with alumni. You can seek their knowledge and ask them to share their experiences which helps a student to understand the trends and ways the things are done in corporate industry.

Good for near by students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Talking about the courses which chhatrapati shivaji maharaj University provides are good they almost provide all the courses students have choices which course they want to choose. From my perspective all the teachers should improve their teaching method because csmu teachers don't teach students well. Exams which is held usually after one and a half month of college starting is of 1 hour duration and our semester exam duration is 3 hours and exam level is average students can score well in exams.
