Remarks

We have a Alumni Cell. Every year we have an Alumni Meet where alumni of different years are invited and they give presentation and all and interact with students and faculties. The Alumni network deals with keeping good relations with past students and this helps in the recruitment as well sometimes.

Entrance Preview

I gave JEE MAINS entrance exam to be in this college and i scored well in that. I opted this as it is the best college available in India and it has been my dream to study here.I gain lots of experience on Civil engineering, as i have scored more then 78% , its my best college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course instrumentation is so good at our college that after complesion nobody should have any doubt about what instrumentation engineering. Lab, workshop and all other training related to our department is carried out nicely to all students without any hesitation.

Placement Experience

The training and placement cell of the college is very active. Throughout the year we have companies coming in for placements and all. For last two years the placement of Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering is near one hundred percent and for other branches most people don't go into core sector but end up in IT with an average salary of 3-4 LPA.

Faculty and standards are very good. Maximum of them are having phd on related subject. They have the capability to teach with different books of different author to made exact clarity of any subject. They are good enough for any engineering students of any engineering college.

For the 5th semester the students will become eligible for the campus placements. DE shaw, dell, oracle, Infosys are the different companies. Highest package is 42lpa and average is 10 lpa. Almost 90% students get placements. I want to get placed in a well reputed company.

Placement Experience:

From the semister the students got good cgpa .and as paer the cgpa the company give offer to the students. There are many companies visit to our college like nalco ,tech Mahindra, Infosys etc. Around 90 percent students get placement in different company. My plan after getting degree to settle and live a happy and healthy life.

According to seniors , placements are good and decent comparing to other nits . After 6 semester , company are hiring for placements . Many companies has visited more than enough . Highest package I seen in 23 is 1.12 CR in rubrik from senior . My plans after degree is doing sde job at company.

Comprehensive Review of Campus life at IIIT Bhubaneswar

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placementfrom the beginning of 7th semester. Major companies that visit include Oracle, Media.net, Tiger Analytics, Incture, Quantiphi, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Informatica and many others. The highest package offered was 24 LPA by Zscaler, while the average package for the electronics branch stands at 6 LPA. This year placements were affected by the recession, resulting in approx 100 students remaining unplaced.

Good college with faculty but now the standard is low.

Remarks:

The college management is very poor. Actually we saw that in our last year we got no principle and not even that you can see that the buildings are half build. The college faculties are helpful with some extent. Overall the college is good but not the best you can choose.
