I took the uptu exam, my rank was 31,483. I opted for counselling and then I filled out BBDEC in my choice 1. You can find all details on Bbdec's official site. Direct admission is also an option here. Reservation leads to students applying for more scholarships than general students. No, the admission process is fine.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BTECH, CSE as I wanted to develop a career as a software engineer. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:60 i.e each faculty teach 60 students in a class. Other than that mentors are appointed and that ratio is 1:15. The faculty is well qualified and use the latest techniques to make the subject understand easily. They are very supportive. The exam was moderately level difficult. Any student who is consistent throughout the term can pass the exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are a bit high according to the facilities provided. There are very few internship opportunities at the college or we can say none. Companies like TCS, Infosys etc provide job on-campus placement with an average package of 3.6 lakh per annum
Campus Life
Fests are conducted each year and there are 3 techs and one cultural club in our college. Recently in the month of November devfest was conducted. There is availabilty of every kind of course book and journal in college. Sports and other events are organised side by side and all the students get a chance to participate.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are poor. The room almirah contains bugs. There is no wifi availabilty and no availabilty of hotwater in winters. The food of mess is not good in taste and they dont provide enough food . They use low quality product and try to earn as more as possible
