Internship in KINS

The admission procedure is through an entrance test. To get admitted one needs to clear the entrance exam. To apply for the course, the minimum eligibility is a class 12 pass with 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The application form is easily available on the official website. I choose this course because I want to be a nurse and take care of people. The faculty here is very good and very student-friendly. They are always there to help the students in the maximum possible way. The students can approach the teachers even after the classes for doubt clarification. The teachers are all qualified with master's degrees. There are 4 exams; two internals, one, model, and one final. Every exam is on a gap of three months. They prepare a standard question which is not so difficult if one studies well.

The internship itself occurs at our hospital. Students are posted in different wards such as ICU, Medicine ward, Gastroenterology ward for experience. They are paid a salary during those 6 months. Also they have to submit a research project that is allotted to them at the beginning of the year. Also research guides are provided to help students.

Per year we have to pay 102000 which includes registration fee-1000, examination free- 1000 and course fee -100000. Extra 14000 at the time of admission for dress and books. After the completion of the course the KIMS hospital provides to each of its students.

SNA which stands for Student Nursing Association is a group that solves any problems faced by students. Gives funds to organize certain events. The annual fest of KIMS is CHIMERA and also the KIIT Fest. These are usually conducted in December month. There are libraries for different departments and they have several types of books that are very helpful to the students. The classroom has AC and Smartboards. There are large fields for football, and cricket, and different courts for games such as tennis, kabaddi, volleyball, etc. There are also gyms.
