Exploring my college life

Initially, I applied for the KIITEE, which is the entrance examination of KIIT University. My ranking was 90 and in the first counselling only I got the opportunity to get admission to this renowned university. The admission process and the counselling was very much fluent, and I didn't face any Hassel in taking admission to this college.

As my aim was to help people and do all the needful activities to give them better medical facilities so I chose nursing as my profession. As the nurse is one who stays 24 hours around the patient and the needful. Our batch contains 94 students of which we have 11 boys and the rest of the class has girls. Faculty members of the college contain all the experienced assistant professors and professors. Our course consists of two internal examinations, one model examination and an annual examination year. The annual examination is the most important and tough examination in which if we fail we will have to give the supplementary examination of that subject

As I am a student I don't have any idea about the hospitals that visit our college. We get the stipend from our 3rd year as per the duty hours and we get the stipend in the internship also. We don't have any projects as per my knowledge and outcomes.

Our institutional fees of BSC. Nursing is 1lakh per year and the hostel fee is 56,000 excluding the mess fees, which is very much affordable as compared to other colleges around. No such scholarship is been provided to the students as per my knowledge. We get admission to this college through the ranking of the KIITEE. This college provides a huge round of campus which provides recruitment and internships in various hospitals. And our seniors also tell about the good recruiting process

The campus of KIIT UNIVERSITY is huge and very fascinating. We have different campuses according to the courses. And each and every campus is been beautified and decorated very nicely. And the campus is very peaceful. The university contains one large central library, in which all kinds of books are been available and each college also contains its individual library which also contains enough books for all students and we can do self-study there. Each and every classroom contains a smart board one whiteboard or blackboard, speakers for easy and clear listening, a table for teaches, and enough benches for students to sit on. The classroom is very well-ventilated and air-conditioned. The college is active in different types of cultural and sports activities. They conduct two fests which are KIMS Fest and the other one is KIIT fest. We have different social groups which do cultural activities, groups such as KIMAYA, and NSS which perform social-cultural activities.

The hostel facility of the college is very nice and comfortable. The room is so spacious and well ventilated. The food of the mess is so tasty and hygiene is maintained. The quantity provided is enough . Registration process was so easy and affordable as compared to other colleges. No I don't rented a room or PG.
