Remarks

The candidate should have pursued only Bio-maths or cs-maths group to pursue this course. The selection round consists of 4 rounds based on the marks. There are reservation quotas for specific students like ex-army, physical disability, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course which I selected was based on my interest and passion. The faculties and students have very good bonding. They were very friendly to us. All the faculties are Master's degree holders and most of the faculties have completed their Ph.D. course and some of the faculties are pursuing their Ph.D. course currently. The teaching method was so good. There is a total of 3 term exams per semester. The difficulty of passing the examination is moderate.

Internships Opportunities

Our college allows all kinds of internships. Some of the students start their internship in the seventh semester itself and most of the students start their internship in the eighth semester. Most of the companies will provide stipends during their intern period.

Placement Experience

Our college has good placement Records. The companies will come to our college for recruitment in the sixth semester itself. The average package offered to our students is 4.5 LPA. Most of the students will get placed and starts their internship or training in their eight semesters.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no hike in fee structure in our college and the average cost of study will be nearly 70,000 to 80,000 per year. There are many scholarships are availed by our college based on Government terms and conditions.

The college conducts a cultural day once per year in the month of February or march. For every women's day, they conduct a fest. All kinds of books related to our curriculum are available in our college library. Our college has won many awards related to NSS.

Vibrant Cmapus life at HITS: Academics, Oppurtunities and Social Engagement

Placement Experience:

We are eligible for the placements only during the 7th semester, we are given pre placement training, mock interviews and skill development workshops. Most of the recruiters at HITS for CSE are TCS, Wipro, Congnizant, Capgemini, IBM, HCL and Accenture, others include KPMG, Deloitte and EY. The number of offers differs from company to company. The highest package ranges from 12-15LPA, the average package is mostly 4-6LPA and there are alos slightly lower offering salaries like 3.5-5LPA. PRofiles that are most offered are Software Engineer, Data Analyst and Consultant. Almost 70-80percent of the students get placed and this may also vary across departments. Plans after receiveing the degree and if not placed are to pursue higher studies or build my own startup in the tech industry and build more skills side by side.

i've applied to Ramakrishna,SRM trichy,CARE,kings and stjoseph engineering colleges along with saranathan college of engineering. comparing with other colleges, SCE has an outstanding teaching and it holds the rank of top 10 engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu.so i choose this college. everything is based on your cut-off ((physics,chemistry and maths) marks/2) in the 12th grade and JEE marks. based on these marks, you can choose the departments. if you have cut off mark above 185 you can get into CSE above 170 for ECE and etc...Read More
