The eligibility of the course is that the applicant must have passed class 12th with an aggregate of 55% marks in PCB with English compulsory. The application process and the form can be easily found on the Csjm University website. It is mostly released in the month of Dec-Feb and the entrance exam takes place in May or June.

I chose this course because I wanted to be in the field of medicine and this course aptly fulfills my needs. I wanted to be a physiotherapist and the course here well suited my needs. The faculty and the teachers are well-suited and more than good. They have innovative teaching methods and make learning easier. Also we have an individual physiotherapy OPD where patients come and avail treatment at just Rs 50 per week and this in turns also provides us real time atmosphere of an hospital and trains us on how to treat a patient.

The college has tie-ups with many hospitals in Kanpur such as GSVM MEDICAL COLLEGE KANPUR AND FORTUNE HOSPITAL IN KANPUR. They keep various physiotherapists and provide stipends varying from Rs.5000-10000. This helps in the growth of the students so that we become better doctors in the future.

The fee structure is well suited for this course and is also much less than other colleges offering the same course. Moreover, you can get a scholarship based on your studies from the government. The name of the scholarship is the Dasmottar scholarship and it is managed by the UP GOVERNMENT. There is physiotherapy OPD where we can treat the patients and learn in the process.

There are a variety of events that take place in the college concerning the course. The international wellness conference -2019 was one of them. It had eminent personalities in the field of physiotherapy who provided their valuable time here at the university. There is a central library and research room in the college which has a huge amount of books for all courses and subjects. Also, you can search for the books you need using a computer. There are smart classrooms for a better learning process with spacious and properly ventilated classes. Ample opportunity is provided in the field of sports and extracurricular activities such as Debates and other cultural activities.
