Entrance Preview
I had to pass an entrance exam which is MAHCET which was an aptitude test, group discussion and personal interview. I opted this course over others because it would give me a faster way to approach my aim. I chose this college over others because of the ranking it has.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the course is very helpful and in detail. You have to keep yourself dedicated to studying. Else the exams and the studying can be hard. The teachers are always willing to help. When you start working, DY Patil Institute of management does have its ranking among companies so maintaining the ranking is important and difficult.
Placement Experience
The placements were held before the final semester. Lot of companies came like volkswagen India,vodafone,tech mahindra etc. The packages offered were about 5 lakh p.a. there was almost about 85% placed students. The faculty helped students get placed by training them and also by giving the unplaced students more priority.
Exam Structure
It was not hectic but that doesn't mean that you can chill out all the time. The mid semester exams are not to be taken. lightly and it is important. The mid semester exam is graded on 100 but only added as 59 to the end Sem. So end Sem exams are double effort and so does attendance count.
Faculty
Faculty was always very helpful. But you have to make sure you don't act smart in front of them. These faculties are also working elsewhere so they don't take any rubbish from you. Nor do they waste time so if your looking for a college to play around and chill, you might want to chose another college.
